About

From: Ansan, South Korea

In the early 1970s, a pioneering English rock band emerged from Birmingham, bringing a unique sound that blended pop and classical arrangements with a futuristic twist. At the helm of this innovative ensemble were multi-talented musicians Jeff Lynne and Roy Wood, who would later be joined by drummer Bev Bevan. As the band's sole leader after Wood's departure in 1972, Lynne's creative vision guided the Electric Light Orchestra through over a decade of critically-acclaimed music, with Bevan providing a consistent presence throughout.
