Born to Mexican parents in the United States, this multifaceted artist began her career as a child actress in some of Mexico's most iconic Golden Age films, eventually transitioning into a successful music career that spanned rock and roll, pop ballads, and Latin rhythms. With hits like "El hombre de mi vida" and "Reina y cenicienta", she cemented her status as a teen idol and household name in Mexico, thanks in part to her collaborations with renowned composer Armando Manzanero.
