About

From: United Kingdom

This British roots dub duo, known for their distinctive blend of analogue and digital elements, emerged in the mid-1980s with a unique sound that set them apart from their reggae counterparts. Comprising bassist Christine Woodbridge and keyboard player John Sprosen, they drew inspiration from legendary artists such as Lee "Scratch" Perry and King Tubby, yet managed to craft a distinctly British sound that has captivated fans worldwide. Their debut home-recorded cassette in 1988 marked the beginning of a successful partnership with Greensleeves Records, who would go on to release some of their most critically acclaimed work.
