Meet the maestro behind some of bachata's most iconic hits, a trailblazing Dominican musician who pioneered the genre's modern sound in the early 1990s with his unique blend of romantic lyrics, pop-infused guitar riffs, and innovative instrumentation. With a string of chart-topping singles like "Voy Pa'lla" and "Por Mi Timidez," this influential artist successfully bridged the gap between rural roots and mainstream appeal, earning him the nickname "El Mayimbe" of Bachata.
