ALERT: Byrum Brown Struggles Despite Defense Doing Their Job | Auburn Football Podcast
Auburn Football has plenty of problems coming out of the loss to Tennessee, but the defense should not be at the top of the list. The biggest questions continue to surround Auburn’s offense. Auburn scored only 14 points against Tennessee, and even that number does not completely explain how much the Tigers struggled. Xavier Atkins created a short field with an interception that helped set up seven points. Without the defense creating that opportunity, Auburn’s offensive production could have looked even worse. That brings the conversation back to coaching, personnel and Byrum Brown. Alex Golesh took responsibility for Auburn’s offensive problems after the game, but five games into the season, the fixes still have not consistently shown up. Auburn has changed pieces along the offensive line. The staff has had months to evaluate the personnel. Yet the Tigers continue to start games without an offensive plan that consistently produces points. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
