About
From: United Kingdom
Hailing from Manchester, England, this influential beat group emerged as the backing ensemble for the talented Wayne Fontana, before blossoming into a chart-topping sensation in their own right. Their catchy sound and memorable hits, including "The Game of Love" in 1965 and the iconic "A Groovy Kind of Love" in 1966, helped them secure a spot among the successful acts of the mid-1960s British Invasion.
