Week 17 Preview: What went right and wrong in fantasy in 2019

Well, the fantasy championships are over — UNLESS your championship game is in Week 17. If you do, we are obligated by the fantasy overlords themselves to say: “Your league is crazy.” But, if you like to live dangerously, Liz Loza and Matt Harmon have you covered for Week 17 in the latest fantasy football podcast.[Yahoo Sportsbook powered by BetMGM: Deposit $10, Get $100 in Free Bets. (0:50)Before we get to the rest of the Week 17 games, with 95% of leagues wrapped up for the year, there’s no time like the present to look back at the fantasy season. What happened to the consensus top four — Christian McCaffrey, Saquon Barkley, Alvin Kamara, and Ezekiel Elliott — this season? How did they finish the year? Was the consensus all wrong, or is this just part of variance? What about the rest of the guys drafted in the top 10? (4:20)After his incredible 2019 season, could Lamar Jackson be next year’s #1 overall pick? (7:00)And speaking of QBs, what do we make of the current top 10 — Jackson, Deshaun Watson, Dak Prescott, JAMEIS WINSTON, Russell Wilson, Josh Allen, Mahomes, Kyler Murray, Matt Ryan, and Carson Wentz — going into 2020? Should the whole “Wait on a QB” strategy change? Should we be looking to target dual-threat quarterbacks only? (15:05)Liz and Matt then look towards Week 17 and tell you the one thing you should look for in each game.
