With so many statues of controversial figures being toppled around the world, what about the one in SG of Sir Stamford Raffles, who’s increasingly seen as “not the nicest guy”. What about brands with “Raffles” in them? Elsewhere, a AU-born Chinese contestant from Masterchef accused a radio host for being racist by greeting her with “Ni Ha Mao?” Does she have a point?
