Since the dawn of ages, pink was representative of girls and blue was representative of boys. Everyone knows this! The labor and delivery floor of hospitals and anyone at a baby shower. Never did you go to a gender reveal looking to see purple or green. The same way these colors are universally known for who they symbolize, is the same way we know the stick figure on the bathroom door with a dress to mean female restroom and the figure without the dress to mean male restroom.
