Three years after October 7, Erin sits down with Pesi Gordon Roth for one of the most difficult and important conversations ever featured on The Erin Molan Show.

Pesi was just eight years old when her big sister, Malki Roth, was murdered in the 2001 Sbarro suicide bombing in Jerusalem.

More than two decades later, tragedy struck her family again.

After the October 7 Hamas attacks, Pesi’s husband, IDF reservist Master Sgt. Naftali Yonah Gordon, was called back to serve. On December 7, 2023, he was killed while fighting in Gaza.

Their two little girls were just one and a half and three and a half years old.

In this extraordinarily moving conversation, Pesi takes Erin through memories no family should ever have to live with: waiting for her sister to come home, the morning October 7 changed everything, watching Naftali leave his daughters to return to the IDF, the emotional goodbyes before he entered Gaza, the knock at the door on the first night of Hanukkah, and the impossible task of telling two tiny girls that their Abba was never coming home.

It is a heartbreaking story. But it is one the world needs to hear.
