Unknown Broadcast | The Smile: A Giant Face over a Chesapeake Bay Lighthouse

A gigantic smile hangs over a Chesapeake Bay lighthouse, and the writer watching it believes it is draining his life. Bill Fenchurch summons his estranged wife Grace to the isolated refuge, where even his skeptical uncle can see the impossible shape. Unknown Broadcast presents G. Frederick Lewis’s “The Smile,” a CBS Radio Mystery Theater drama of maritime danger and psychological dread. Bill grows weaker while Grace searches for an explanation beyond the lighthouse window. Is the face an omen, an obsession, or something the bay itself can explain?
