Unknown Broadcast | The Sin Eater: Appalachian Ritual, Kidnapping and the Burden of the Dead

An Appalachian sightseeing trip becomes an abduction when a family selects a stranger to inherit a dying man’s sins. James Reed came to collect folk songs; now he and his wife Lucille are trapped beside a ritual neither agreed to join. Unknown Broadcast presents “The Sin Eater,” a Suspense drama written by Bob Cochran. Bread, ale and an open grave turn an old funeral custom into a nightmare of coercion and betrayal. This rural horror story follows two outsiders discovering that an isolated mountain road can lead somewhere far harder to leave than they imagined.
