Unknown Broadcast | Carnival in Vienna & Chicken Heart — Crime and Science-Fiction Horror

From Weekly Spooky: Scary Christmas Stories | Terrifying Tales to Creep Your Holiday Henrique Couto | Scary Stories & Horror Expert

A carnival employee sees a chance to steal a fortune; a laboratory experiment threatens to swallow the world. Unknown Broadcast pairs “Carnival in Vienna” from Escape with Arch Oboler’s “Chicken Heart” from Lights Out. Johnny Allison’s scheme involves a sabotaged Ferris wheel, stolen identification and a laughing mechanical clown in postwar Austria. Then living tissue grows beyond containment in a classic science-fiction nightmare. These vintage radio dramas trade the glitter of a midway for the dread of a laboratory, linking criminal ambition with a catastrophe no one knows how to stop.
