Things Come in Threes — A Backwoods Creature Hunts Three Strickfield Cousins

A runaway dog leads three look-alike cousins into Strickfield's Backwoods, where something much larger crashes through the trees. Things Come in Threes by Rob Fields follows Madelyne Mouse Donnerly, Eileen, and Daisy May as a visit turns into a monster chase. Arial Mirren's introduction to the country cousin brings comedy before the girls need a battered pickup and some unexpected help. This Weekly Spooky creature story combines family banter, back-road danger, and the recurring characters' strange abilities. Finding the dog was supposed to be the hard part; now they need a way home.
