The Thin Place | Irish Folklore, a Dullahan & the Ohio Woods Between Worlds

An abandoned bridge in Ohio leads a teenage camper into the world of his grandmother’s Irish folklore. Rich dismisses her warnings until distant lights draw him across a boundary into woods where a headless rider and stranger creatures are real. The dullahan, the pooka, and old protective customs become more than fireside stories as a cabin gathering turns deadly. “The Thin Place” blends Celtic folklore with wilderness horror, forcing a skeptical boy to remember what might get him home. David O’Hanlon’s story asks which family warning you would wish you had believed.
