The Siren’s Song | A Dead Mother’s Voice Calls from the River

A boy hears his dead mother calling from beneath a canoe in Joe Solmo’s “The Siren’s Song.” Days after her funeral, Jacob visits a remote river cabin with Uncle Glen. His father refuses to return to the place, and questions about his mother’s past go unanswered. Now a familiar voice beneath the water asks for help. Grief and siren folklore meet in a supernatural horror story about the danger of hearing exactly what you long to hear.
