The Legend of Oopsie Poopsie - Dark Humor Meets Grotesque Horror

The locals in New Ellsworth have a story about Oopsie Poopsie. Jon expects small-town eccentricity when he moves to the Adirondacks, but warnings about a grotesque, oversized infant suggest the joke may have something awful behind it. Joe Solmo’s “The Legend of Oopsie Poopsie” turns lumber-country gossip into a creature-feature nightmare, mixing absurd humor with bodily horror and the fear of discovering why the neighbors take a ridiculous name seriously. Some local legends are best heard from a safe distance. Jon may have moved too close.
