The Deal Was Great, but the Payments Are Hell | Demons at the Motel Door

A pizza delivery looks like a demonic ambush to Jerimiah Reedle in Joe Solmo’s “The Deal Was Great, but the Payments Are Hell.” Hiding in a cheap motel with his father’s revolver, he follows family rules meant to keep Hell at bay. The delivery driver insists he only wants his money, but another visitor is coming with a different debt to collect. Paranoia, inherited trouble and a very unlucky pizza run collide in this darkly comic demon story. How long can a locked door protect you from an old bargain?
