The Beast of Roca de Vaca | A Chupacabra Hunt on a School Field Trip

Bloodless livestock turn a school field trip into a Chupacabra hunt in Morgan Moore’s “The Beast of Roca de Vaca.” Ranch Roca de Vaca offers riding lessons and tales of Puerto Rican folklore—until animals are found dead behind torn fencing. With the bus due the next morning, Patrick, Sean and Tommy sneak out with a camera to prove the monster is real. This creature-horror story follows three boys past the adults’ warnings and into barns where something is feeding.
