The April Fool — A Preview of Rob Fields’s Patreon Slasher Serial

A killer strikes Strickfield every April Fools’ Day, and survivor Ashley Gable fears this year will be her last. This 2024 preview introduces Rob Fields’s Patreon serial “The April Fool,” a holiday slasher mystery in which Detective Chantel Devereux has one day to stop the annual murders. Ashley has already lost people she loves and survived an attack herself. Now the killer has another chance to finish the job. A short introduction to the longer Strickfield story, rather than the complete serial: can Chantel solve the pattern before the date changes and the murderer disappears for another year?
