Thanksgiving Dinner | A Small-Town Welfare Check Reveals a House of Cruelty

A routine welfare check takes Officer Sophia Cortez inside a nightmare in Rachael Redolfi’s “Thanksgiving Dinner.” Hoping for a quieter life in Monticello, Indiana, Sophia expects the usual small-town duties. A visit to Norman Roberts’ trailer instead reveals signs of prolonged captivity and abuse, forcing her to reconstruct what the neighborhood never saw. This fictional police horror story follows the human cost of a discovery that changes both an investigation and the officer making it. Content notice: severe child abuse, captivity and graphic violence.
