Terrifying & True | Mary Morris Murders: Two Houston Women, Four Days & an Unsolved Mystery

Two Houston-area women named Mary Morris were murdered four days apart in October 2000. Was their shared name a clue or a coincidence? Terrifying & True examines the deaths of Mary Lou Morris and Mary McGinnis Morris, the phone calls surrounding the cases and the theory that a hired killer targeted the wrong woman. That explanation remains unproved, and the episode follows the gaps between suspicion and evidence. Two families lost someone; a memorable theory did not give either of them an answer. What, if anything, connects the murders? We're telling that story tonight.
