Special Halloween Hours — Strickfield Video Night-Shift Monster Horror

Charlee Brewster takes an evening job at Strickfield Video, a rental store in a downtown that still loves its old-fashioned pleasures. Then Halloween brings unusual customers, unfamiliar rules and a shift that demands more than finding the right movie. Rob Fields’s “Special Halloween Hours” turns a nostalgic video-store job into a supernatural encounter, where recognizing a monster on a cassette cover is easier than serving one across the counter. Charlee wanted extra money and something to do after class. The holiday hours come with a much stranger assignment.
