Slasher: Valentine Screams – A Deadly Horror-Movie Romance

A monster on a horror-movie set is no special effect in Rob Fields’s “Slasher: Valentine Screams.” Scream queen Vickie Valentine and her girlfriend Bethany Mirren return for a feature-length story of filmmaking, queer romance and convention chaos. A Valentine’s broadcast and a movie premiere frame a production where the creature wants more than a role. This third Slasher installment follows performers who know how to fake terror—until the threat refuses to follow the script. Hear the first two stories in “Slashback” for the characters’ earlier adventures.
