Newborn — A Vampire Bride Awakens in Strickfield

You wake after a Strickfield party with missing memories, no reflection and a hunger ordinary food cannot satisfy. Rob Fields’s “Newborn” places listeners inside Eliza’s transformation through a second-person vampire story. A stranger from the party, a friend who knows more than she first admits and an invitation that suddenly matters all point toward an undead existence Eliza never understood. The vampire Arbogast offers a place among his brides, but this new family has dangers of its own. Follow a young woman’s first steps into a night that may never end.
