Intruder in the Night | Home Invasion Horror for Halloween

A teenage babysitter faces a masked intruder with poison gas in Intruder in the Night, a home invasion horror story by David O’Hanlon. It’s September 1944, and fourteen-year-old Candice Cardona is watching two boys in Couto Basin. Then a window opens, a sickly sweet smell drifts through the house, and muddy boot prints lead to the children’s room. Someone is already inside—and Candice has more than her own life to save. Make room in your scary Halloween stories queue for the Mad Gasser of Couto Basin, an original Weekly Spooky nightmare rooted in wartime paranoia. Don’t breathe too deeply.
