Hermit: Ancient Nature Magic, Black Ichor & a Forest Doomed by Human Fear

Black ichor coats a dying squirrel in the forest of Monre'athh. Its elderly guardian recognizes the sign of an ancient threat and leaves her sanctuary to warn a nearby village. Hermit by Mike Mann follows a woodland healer through a dark-fantasy realm where a broken natural balance lets ravenous creatures spread. Her evidence should bring help; instead, Pastor Caine sees an enemy in the woman carrying it. Nature magic, ecological horror, and fear of unfamiliar knowledge drive a warning no one wants to hear. Can a healer persuade the village before the corruption reaches it?
