Halloween 198666 | Metalheads, Graveyard Witchcraft and a Demon on the Loose

An ancient spell book turns one last trick-or-treating trip into a monster problem in Dan Wilder’s “Halloween 198666.” It is October 31, 1986, and two small-town metalheads want candy, horror movies and a final helping of teenage mischief. Their plans take them to a cemetery, where a ritual seems like a better idea than it really is. Before the night ends, Sam, Ace and Hannah must deal with something that should have stayed on the page. This darkly comic Halloween creature feature mixes ’80s music nostalgia, graveyard magic and the consequences of a very bad dare.
