First Date: Arial Mirren, Carter Cross & the Ghosts of Carnovasch Estate

A first date takes an unexpected turn when Arial Mirren and Carter Cross encounter a child ghost at Carnovasch Estate. In Rob Fields’s “First Date,” two longtime rivals explore a new attraction while an abandoned mansion pulls them into an older mystery. A family portrait and a sealed space beneath the house suggest the apparition wants more than company. This Strickfield ghost story combines teenage romance with haunted-house discovery, giving Arial and Carter something more unsettling than an awkward evening to face. Their relationship is changing, but the estate’s past has not been laid to rest.
