Even the Devil Tells the Truth… Sometimes | A New Year’s Eve Pact in New York

A stolen amulet puts a violent New Yorker in business with the Devil in Dan Wilder’s “Even the Devil Tells the Truth… Sometimes.” The terms promise immortality in exchange for a killing each New Year’s Eve. For a man who already enjoys hurting strangers, the bargain sounds simple—until another midnight approaches and he begins testing what his patron really meant. This explicit supernatural crime story follows a remorseless narrator through the city’s holiday crowds. While Times Square waits for the ball to drop, he has a very different deadline to meet.
