Echoes | A Lakeside Date Repeats a Waitress’s Drowning Nightmare

A lakeside picnic begins to resemble a drowning nightmare in Shane Migliavacca’s “Echoes.” Waitress Ronny is drawn to Travis, a handsome newcomer who brings excitement to her small New York town. Before their date, she dreams of being unable to move as water closes around her. A shadowy visitor seems to be trying to warn her, but daylight makes the fear harder to trust. This supernatural suspense story follows a new romance through disturbing moments of recognition. The lake looks beautiful in the afternoon sun. Why does Ronny feel she has been here before?
