Dead Ahead | A Hit-and-Run Cover-Up Summons the Dead

Burying a hit-and-run victim does not quiet Becca’s conscience in Joe Solmo’s “Dead Ahead.” Her boyfriend Tom insists they hide the body beside a New Jersey road and keep moving. Already wanted by police, the pair cannot afford another secret coming to light. But Tom’s cruelty drives Becca toward an occult ritual that promises revenge through the dead. This supernatural horror story follows guilt, coercion and buried violence into a nightmare of revenants. Becca wants to punish the man controlling her life. She may be opening a path for more than one unfinished grievance.
