Breaking the Seal | A Witch’s Hex Turns a Hangover into Body Horror

A hangover becomes a witch’s revenge when a man discovers he cannot stop urinating. The bathroom is flooding, a bloody pentagram marks his chest, and the previous night’s choices are beginning to come back to him. “Breaking the Seal” traps its narrator in an increasingly desperate race to get the curse lifted without losing what remains of his dignity. Douglas Waltz mixes gross-out body horror, occult punishment, and dark comedy in a story where a bad morning refuses to end. The only person who can help is the woman he wronged.
