Best of 2024: Last Flight Out — A Haunting Tale of Love, Loss, and Mystery in the Skies

A flight from Atlanta to Seattle becomes an airborne nightmare when Sheila takes her seat beside elderly passenger Otis Thornton. His strange conversation and the plane’s gathering trouble make an ordinary trip feel increasingly wrong. What does Otis know, and how much of what Sheila hears should she believe? Charles Campbell’s “The Last Flight Out” returns in this Best of 2024 episode, combining fear of flying, claustrophobic suspense and the uneasy intimacy of sitting beside a stranger with nowhere to go. Narrated by Henrique Couto for Weekly Spooky.
