Behind the Spooky #02 | Dan Wilder on Writing Horror and Making Movies

Dan Wilder and Henrique Couto trace the collaboration behind Weekly Spooky in Behind the Spooky #02. Their work on “Ouija Room” and “Boggy Creek: The Series” leads into a conversation about choosing stories from Penned in Blood, shaping scripts and moving from writing into directing. Dan recalls making his first film in 2019 and the projects that followed. This interview explores how a horror podcast grows from shared tastes, practical experience and creative enthusiasm. What makes a story exciting enough to keep two collaborators coming back?
