All I Want for Christmas... Is My Mother to Stop Haunting Me! — A Skeleton Possession Nightmare

Carol Holly’s family thought her Christmas obsession would end with her death. Then she comes back—and a giant decorative skeleton gives the holiday haunting a terrifying new shape. Bruce Haney’s “All I Want for Christmas... Is My Mother to Stop Haunting Me!” blends a ghost story with dark family comedy, turning an oversized seasonal decoration into the last houseguest anyone wanted. Can the Hollys reclaim the holiday when their mother refuses to leave, even after leaving the living behind? Some traditions are very hard to bury.
