Abandonment Issues — The Changeling’s Bargain and Irish Fae Horror

Raised human but born fae, a father-to-be enters the wet woods beneath Knocknarea to bargain for his unborn child. Abandonment Issues by Douglas Waltz brings Irish changeling folklore into a modern confrontation near Sligo, where the Fair Folk claim a bloodline he wants to protect. Cold iron, a captured sprite, and a prophecy from a carnival mirror are all he has against an ancient court. This Weekly Spooky fantasy-horror tale makes family and identity the stakes of a dangerous negotiation. What can a man offer beings who believe the child was already theirs before the bargain began?
