What happens when we 1:42 begin healing emotionally, growing spiritually, and discovering who we 1:48 really are, only to realize that so much of what we've been pursuing may never 1:55 have been what we truly wanted. And that's where I want to start today's 2:03 episode. I want to begin with that topic because something extraordinary can happen 2:10 when we begin discovering our authentic self. The more we understand who we really are, 2:18 the more we begin questioning why we've spent so much of our lives trying to become who the 2:26 world wanted us to be. Think about that for a moment. How many of our decisions 2:33 have been influenced by what the people around us expected from us? How many of 2:40 our dreams were shaped by society's definition of success? How much of our 2:46 happiness have we sacrificed trying to build a life that looks successful to 2:52 everybody else. I know I've spent a great deal of my life doing exactly that for 2:59 years. I mean literally years. I believe success was something I needed to 3:04 achieve, something I needed to prove, something that would finally make me feel 3:10 good enough. But as I began healing my emotional wounds and developing a deeper 3:17 relationship with my higher power, my understanding of success started changing. 3:24 The things I thought I wanted weren't always the things that brought me peace. 3:30 The accomplishments I believed would make me happy didn't always bring me joy. 3:37 And the more I grew spiritually, the more I began realizing that perhaps I had spent 3:44 that much of my life pursuing someone else's definition 3:48 of happiness and that realization, quite honestly, 3:53 can be truly frightening because when we begin letting go 3:58 of the life we thought we wanted, 4:01 we don't always know what we're supposed to replace it with. 4:05 We can feel confused. 4:08 We can certainly feel lost. 4:10 We can even begin questioning 4:12 whether we're making a terrible mistake. 4:16 But I've been wondering something lately. 4:20 What if that confusion isn't a sign 4:23 that something's wrong with our lives? 4:25 What if it's a sign that we're finally beginning 4:28 to discover what really matters to us? 4:32 Maybe our higher power isn't asking us 4:35 to abandon everything we've created. 4:37 it. Maybe we're simply being invited to examine why we created it in the first place. Was 4:46 it because we loved it? Or because we believed it would make us worthy of love? Was it because 4:54 it gave our lives meaning? Or because we thought it would make other people admire us? And 5:02 And perhaps that's the most important question of all, if nobody in the world could judge 5:08 my life, what kind of life would I really want to live? 5:14 Today I want to explore how society's expectations can shape our identity, why emotional healing 5:21 changes what we want from our life, and how spiritual awakening can help us discover 5:27 a deeper meaning of success. 5:31 Because maybe real success isn't about how much we accomplish. 5:36 Maybe it's about how much peace we experience, how much love we share, 5:43 how authentically we live, and how much a difference we can make in the lives of others. 5:51 Maybe discovering our purpose begins when we stop asking the world what our lives should look like, 5:59 and start asking our higher power, who were we created to become? And perhaps 6:06 when enough of us begin making that change, something even greater becomes 6:12 possible. We stop measuring one another by what we own, what we earn, and what 6:20 we've accomplished, and we begin recognizing one another for who we 6:26 truly are. Maybe that's how we begin changing not only our own lives but the world we live into 6:38 and the world we share with everybody else. Just maybe, just maybe. That's how the world 6:47 moves from living as a me and begins becoming a we. My name is Joe Mitiga 6:54 and this is we welcome everybody to the we podcast it's a great night here in 7:02 Atlanta Georgia and I want to welcome everybody to the to this episode you 7:08 know this these episodes just so everybody knows I predetermined about 7:12 20 titles well in advance so when I come up with the titles I work with AI we 7:21 We create an environment where my titles kind of hook to each other. 7:26 And you know, I give ideas and then I use technology to create the titles to a framework 7:33 and then I put my feeling per title. 7:36 Well, I have to tell you, when I saw this title today, Why Life Can Feel So Confusing, 7:41 I almost fell over. 7:42 I don't really know the titles. 7:44 You know, I don't look at the title for episode 65 before I've done 64. 7:49 So when I saw that I said, wow, this is just the perfect title for tonight because this past 10 days or so. 7:57 And especially a seven day period in there, very confusing for me, really, really confusing. 8:03 And I'm going to talk about that in the later part when I share my experience. 8:07 So I want to just kind of introduce the idea of where did the whole concept of us humans creating a world based on what everybody else thinks? 8:23 Where did that come from? 8:25 And we're going to talk about that. 8:26 Where are the emotional origins of that entire concept? 8:30 You know, you can put great big titles on it. 8:32 It's codependence and it's narcissistic and it's addictive and all of that. 8:36 But like, where did it come from? 8:39 Like truly, how did we develop into human beings, adults, whose perspective 8:46 of success was based on what other people thought? 8:49 Where did it start? 8:50 We're going to talk about that today. 8:52 And of course we're going to talk about the, what do we do about it? 8:55 So we don't live there anymore. 8:57 We're going to talk about that also. 8:59 And it's just, as this particular title came up today, 9:03 why can life be so confusing? 9:05 I had to just grin because I talk about it all the time. 9:10 This is not the man speaking here. 9:12 This is my divinity speaking to all of you around the globe. 9:16 And the explosive growth of the Wee podcast 9:21 has been something I've been following 9:23 and something I've been celebrating. 9:24 and every time I think about another country, 9:28 what it really brings my heart so much joy 9:32 is that it's continuing to bring factual, 9:36 actual understanding that we as a humanity are waking up 9:41 and I say it all the time, 9:43 that's what's happening in humanity. 9:45 We are moving from a male dominated energy pattern 9:49 to a female dominated energy pattern. 9:51 and in that female side we're waking up to the feminine side of ourselves and it 9:57 doesn't matter where you live it doesn't matter the color of your skin it 10:00 doesn't matter your nationality it certainly has nothing to do with 10:04 religion literally spiritual growth really has nothing to do they are they 10:12 can be completely separate your religious beliefs and your spiritual 10:17 growth, they can be completely separate. I say that and I'm going to say it here. I always 10:23 say it that the We Podcast is about teaching people to acknowledge, to embrace and to follow 10:31 a power greater than themselves in your today and your tomorrow, where most religions have 10:39 more of a fashion of guidance so that the end result of you being guided by the 10:46 systems of different religions cause you an eternal life that you can look 10:52 forward to. Well I ain't talking about no eternal life folks, I'm not. Don't know a 10:56 whole bunch about that and you know someday when all of us see each other 11:00 on the other side and we're close to the pearly gates we'll kind of decide 11:03 and discern the rights and the wrongs and but there is no right and wrong 11:07 we're all on a spiritual path and that's why every time I see a new 11:10 country it's just fascinating to me it's just fantastic. It validates 11:15 It's deeply the whole idea of why the concept for Joe of the generation to change and technology 11:23 is the top of it because with a click of a button, I'm here in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, 11:29 and people in France and people in China, people in Malaysia, people in Nigeria, let 11:35 alone the United Kingdom and Australia and New Zealand. 11:37 I go on and on Oman in the Middle East to the United Kingdom in Europe with a click 11:44 of a button the technology is already in place to where this message that's being divinely guided 11:52 through me here is being heard by people around the globe that get it. You could not be on a 12:00 podcast like mine for any length of time if you weren't on a spiritual path, if you weren't a true 12:05 spiritual warrior. Most of you are probably even more practiced at it than myself. I just picked 12:12 up a microphone and here we are, but that whole concept of generation change and that's 12:17 the foundation of what we do here at the We Podcast. 12:21 My ultimate goal, the intention of this experience is to mirror back to 100 million people around 12:30 the globe that you are a spiritual being having a human experience and the veil, the literal 12:37 your availability as a human being 12:41 to commune with a power greater than yourself, 12:44 that ability is becoming more, 12:47 you had the capability and the capacities 12:50 to identify it and be guided by it more and more every day, 12:54 not only by your own personal self-discovery, 12:58 but as humanity is shifting and growing 13:00 and vibrationally, we as an essence are waking up. 13:04 My message is to teach the how tos and guide people into different day-to-day practice, 13:15 day-to-day recognition, day-to-day acceptance that you are already an awakened being. 13:22 You are already a spiritual being. You are already living large portions of your life as oneness with your power greater than yourself. 13:32 And that's why I am somebody that will challenge human, the human conscious norm and the delusion of if I was one with God then everything would be blissful, falsehood. 13:46 And you know quite honestly a lot of that comes from this most people 50 years ago, really the only perspective they had of a God or power greater than themselves, they gained it in church. 13:59 And the truth of the matter is per large religion, 14:04 each of them have an entity that was uniquely special, truly. 14:10 And I always say to the Christian religion, 14:12 because that's the one I'm the most familiar with, 14:14 was Jesus different than all of us? 14:18 No, yes, yes, yes, and yes. 14:21 And he was divinely guided. 14:25 The difference between Jesus and the rest of us 14:28 Did he have his human flesh? 14:30 Yes. 14:31 Did he have an ego? 14:32 I believe no, I don't. 14:34 That's where he was different. 14:35 But what did he say? 14:37 He shall do what I've done in grander things. 14:38 What did he mean? 14:40 He means that the same consciousness that guided him 14:44 is available in all of us. 14:46 Well, now here in 2026, October the 12th, 2026, 14:51 our availability, the rest of us, our availability 14:54 to be guided by that spirit that is called us 14:59 and to be guided by it is more readily available. 15:04 You are consciously able to do it more grandly. 15:07 And why is that important? 15:09 Because when you're guided by, 15:11 and guided means how do you make your action steps? 15:15 How do you make decisions on a Tuesday morning 15:17 or a Sunday afternoon or a Friday night 15:19 or a Wednesday afternoon? 15:21 How do you do that? 15:22 What part of you is helping you make those decisions? 15:27 We grew up in a society, 15:29 an unconscious society that says we make our decisions 15:33 for our action steps to make sure everybody else 15:36 is happy first. 15:37 And then we wonder why we wake up later in life 15:39 feeling empty vacant and not okay. 15:42 And I'm gonna talk about here later in the episode 15:45 the five different stages of consciousness. 15:49 And why that's important is because as we awaken, we are literally guided by a 15:57 grander part of ourselves. And why the heck do we want to do it? Because the 16:00 truth of the matter is, when you are guided by a grander you, the end result 16:05 is a grander life. And what does that mean? A grander life is going to 16:08 mean you're going to feel better. You're going to have more peace. You're 16:11 going to be more prosperous. You're going to just have a grander sense of 16:17 Locanus is what I call it all the time. 16:19 Does that mean you're gonna make more money? 16:21 Yes, if you're entrepreneurial, 16:24 if you're not entrepreneurial, maybe not, probably not. 16:27 Does it mean you're never gonna challenge with money? 16:28 No, heck no, it's, what the heck? 16:31 You've been at the grocery store lately? 16:32 It costs a bunch of money just to live, let alone gas, 16:35 blah, blah, blah. 16:37 But the truth of the matter is, 16:38 here in Georgia when gas was four bucks a gallon, 16:41 now it's 320, but when it was four bucks a gallon, 16:44 when you're pumping a gas at the quick trip 16:47 for four bucks a gallon, and you feel a oneness of the God of your understanding, you're still 16:51 paying four bucks a gallon. But there's a sense of okayness anyways. There's zero difference of 16:58 okayness in Joe. If the gallon is $4 or $3, it's the same. Why? Because I'm pretty practiced at all 17:05 of this. And that's the why you want to do it. The question is the how. And that's what 17:17 What I'm really starting to understand is that I literally forever thought that living as a higher purpose meant a particular group of action steps that I would take on a particular given day. 17:33 And as I'm taking those action steps I'm living as a higher purpose I'm pursuing a higher purpose. 17:38 i.e. like I'm doing here with the We Podcast and the intention of helping 17:44 awaken 100 million people. And of course that is part of the higher purpose. But 17:49 that's the smallest part of it quite honestly. What I'm becoming aware of is 17:56 every time we are living from a grander us, we're already living as the 18:05 purpose you were born. And the true purpose in which you were born is to go 18:11 from some level of humanity in the extreme for most and start adjusting the 18:18 extreme consciousness of human only into the awakened position of more and more 18:25 divinity guided. Now again I will go back to Jesus and the Christianity, the 18:35 Jesus, in my opinion, was born purely with a pure, divine, 18:42 divinely guided only perspective. 18:46 He didn't have the rest of the nonsense the rest of us have. 18:49 And I could go on and on for the wise. 18:51 First off, we're still talking 18:53 about the human 2,000 years later. 18:55 If nothing else, that should say it was pretty special. 18:58 The walk on water, the miracles, the pufo, the breath. 19:01 in all of the things the man did who he showed it into the world? I believe divine, no unconsciousness 19:11 anywhere. Now, come to the rest of us, right? With the rest of us, we start in a place of 19:17 unconscious, and then we start waking up to the minuscule positions of conscious awakening, 19:26 which allows us to be consciously living from a place of divine. 19:32 And what for myself, what I'm starting to realize more and more, 19:37 my definition of living as a higher purpose has changed. It just has. 19:43 So what I'm defining living as a higher purpose more and more now, 19:47 Is it just a particular event or a particular pursuit or a particular action and I'm living 19:57 as my higher purpose? 19:58 For what I'm really starting to understand more and more and more and more is that each 20:05 time we live from a place of grandeur, then the grant we're living from a place of our 20:14 higher purpose. 20:15 is why are we here from a spiritual emotional 20:19 and conscious perspective to always spiritually grow? 20:23 But the spiritual growth position is only the beginning. 20:29 The living of the growth is what then brings back 20:33 a sense of true accomplishment, a sense of true wholeness, 20:37 a sense of true feeling good. 20:42 And you can, if you look at your day, 20:46 you can discern your own personal action steps. 20:50 I've got family in town and I've got three older sisters 20:55 that are really dynamic women. 20:58 My oldest sister was the person that introduced me 21:02 to the whole idea of you can hear your thoughts. 21:05 This is my early 20, I will never forget. 21:08 that we had a business together and she'd come in, whoever. 21:11 She probably heard about Wayne Dyer four or five years before me. 21:15 I'll never forget yelling at her, say, 21:17 you take your psycho babble, 21:20 be blank and get the heck out of my office. 21:23 Now, of course, when I was doing it, 21:24 because I'm not cussing here on this podcast, there's about 37 cuss words. 21:28 Your psycho babble, blah, blah, blah. What was she trying to do? 21:32 She was basically trying to tell me that, Hey, you know, 21:34 Joe, you can hear your own thoughts. Well, she's in town. 21:38 and we have a great relationship and she's been on a conscious path four or five years longer than me. 21:44 So when we talk, it's about conscious talk, critical thinking, talk beyond the obvious, 21:52 pursue depth of conversation, pursue the whys and any of the ifs and the it's out there. And 21:59 it's just, it's fun. It really is. So, and when we're talking, I notice for myself just 22:06 kind of the style in which I live. And today I can say, regardless of what somebody says, 22:15 regardless of somebody's emotion, regardless of the unconsciousness of the comment, 22:20 I have so much more availability to take the information in, not filter it and then immediately 22:28 judge, which is tolerance, not filter it and immediately make it wrong, which is acceptance, 22:35 and then discern whether I'm going to say anything back or not. 22:40 And I was just having that awareness this past literally 24, 40 hours. 22:44 And I've known about my ability to do it for a while, but it's just becoming clearer. 22:50 So what does Joe call that? 22:52 My ability in any random conversation to have more tolerance, to have more acceptance, 22:57 and then to discern if I'm going to engage or not, 23:01 I call that all part of living as a higher Joe. 23:05 And as we live as a higher Joe, 23:08 our life purpose is being lived every time you do that. 23:14 I say the simplest thing, 23:16 when you're walking into a grocery store, 23:17 hold the door for somebody else, 23:19 be kind to somebody else. 23:21 Every time we're kind to somebody else, 23:23 we're putting somebody else's, 23:25 we're putting a smile on somebody else's face. 23:27 We're literally, as we're doing that, living as a higher us, as a grander us. 23:34 And what's the opposite? 23:37 The opposite is the us who thinks of self first, the me, the ego, the arrogance. 23:43 And if you're a me-based human, you get to that door, you're thinking about getting 23:47 through the door first. 23:50 That's a me perspective, satiate me and mine first and for a lot of people only. 23:56 Well, as you transcend out of that, and you transcend beyond that, every time you hold 24:03 the door for somebody as an example of living a higher purpose, living a higher you. 24:08 And that's why we're here, is to learn how to live as a higher us. 24:13 And why do I bring that to our awareness? 24:15 Because if you think about, I want people to personally grow and their esteem to raise 24:24 and their self-worth to multiply 24:28 because if you really start perceiving yourself, 24:32 describing yourself, this is sacred conversations, folks. 24:36 This isn't, hey, look at me, I'm so spiritually awoken. 24:40 No, no, this is you and you when you're brushing your teeth. 24:45 If you look at every action step you do on a daily basis 24:49 where you're giving to somebody else 24:51 and you start describing those action steps 24:54 as you living as a higher you, 24:58 as part of your life purpose to live as a higher you, 25:02 you'll start describing yourself to self 25:05 as more of a godly person, 25:08 as more of a higher vibrational us, 25:11 as more of a higher power us, 25:13 as more of a communion with a higher power. 25:15 Now, does that mean you hold the door when you go 25:18 And then when you're there, you start complaining to the waitress. Yeah, sometimes, of course, we're still human 25:23 There's still plenty of human. There's still plenty of stuff. We do we wish we wouldn't there's still plenty of stuff that 25:30 Our ego and our arrogance and our will is going to project it onto people around. Yeah, why because we're human 25:37 I'm not 25:38 Saying that stuff isn't there 25:40 But I want you to start becoming aware of how frequently you already are 25:46 living from a higher you. 25:48 And every time you give back any way, shape, or form, 25:51 that's you living a grander reason you were born, 25:55 the purpose you were born, 25:56 which is to live from that higher place. 26:00 Ultimately, what are we all pursuing? 26:02 Living that 100%. 26:04 Will we don't have any idea? 26:06 Yeah, I really don't. 26:07 Did Jesus? 26:08 Yes. 26:09 Did others? 26:10 Yes. 26:10 Well, I probably not. 26:13 Maybe, I don't know. 26:14 I don't know. 26:14 I'm not going to say that anymore. Do I live it now? No. 100% now. I don't. Do I live it a lot? 26:20 I do, I have to tell you. But from that perspective, what's the goal here at The Wee Podcast to help 100 26:27 million people understand you're already, you make it through a podcast like this, 26:32 you're a spiritual being. You're already living portions of your life as a spiritual being. 26:37 And there isn't a right and wrong. There's not a quantity associated. There's not a, 26:42 oh, I live this much and then I am. 26:44 No, when you just start becoming aware, 26:48 then you are literally on a spiritual path. 26:50 And when you are consciously awakened, 26:53 when you conscious to become aware 26:55 that you're on a spiritual path 26:56 and you live that awakening by the giving back, 27:01 that helps build your self description of you. 27:05 And I'm gonna talk about the different developments 27:07 of consciousness, the different connections to how we become more 27:13 consciously aware of the grander us. On the personal side, I have just been an 27:20 absolute glory this past week because my book, Filling Devoid and JoeMitiga.com 27:27 JoeMitiga.com is my website where you can download my book for free and please 27:32 do, please tell everybody. Put it out on social media for me, please. My 27:36 domain name, Joe Midiga, you know, Joe J-O-E Midiga, M-I-T-T-I-G-A.com. Put it out there for me. 27:44 I want people to have it. It was channeled through me by a power much greater than me, 30 plus years 27:51 ago. This has been an adventure 30 years in the making and literally last week, last Wednesday, 28:00 day. Seven days, you know, so five, six days ago, it's actually working how I 28:05 wanted it to work. So it can be downloaded now effortlessly. So please do 28:10 joemitiga.com and tell people about it, put it out on social media for me, and 28:17 what's the reward for Joe? It just feels good. It feels good that something 28:23 that was given to me, that's why God can only do for us what God can do 28:28 through us. And when it comes to a book, God can only, God can't pick up the pencil. Joe had to do 28:34 all that part and God can't get it edited and God can't find blah blah blah. You know, I've done my 28:38 part. But the content of the information is not Joe's. It's Joe's story. But you'll see when you 28:45 read it that, and that whole thing was written 30 years ago. I literally, there's parts of that 28:50 book that describe my life today as if I was living at 30 years ago. Now, when I'm writing 28:56 this book, I'm two years into my seven years of darkness, literally. 22 of those months, 29:02 I'm writing this book. This is probably about year, probably three years in. It was the first 29:08 two years I lived in Gainesville, it was zero, literally zero. And so I'm living on $250 a month 29:13 while I'm writing that book. And all I'm doing is listening and I'm writing as fast as I could 29:19 hear it, pencil, legal size paper, 275 pages, page one to page 275, 106,800 some-odd words 29:29 channeled through. And why is it exciting for me to get it out? Because I made a commitment 30 29:35 years ago that when the time is right, God, Father, I call, you know, when I'm talking 29:42 personally to God, I call my higher power, I call God Father sometimes. And I say, 29:48 Father, I will get it out there. I will do my part." Well, that was accomplished. And I want all of you 29:54 to benefit. And how are you going to benefit? I don't know. What party are you going to benefit? 29:58 I don't know. I have no idea. It's 275 pages. There might just be one paragraph and there's 30:04 somewhere where you go, Oh my God. I don't know. I just know there's something much 30:09 grander than me. And if you're on this podcast and you can make it 30 minutes into my podcast, 30:14 let alone all my other podcasts, that you're a warrior. 30:18 And the things that I teach there were taught to me, 30:23 very little of it is quote unquote, 30:25 none of it's original idea, none of it. 30:28 It was taught to me by people. 30:29 It's my story, but I don't take claim 30:32 to the inner child work and the dual hand journaling 30:35 and the writing of the first step. 30:37 The writing of the first step is AA stuff, first step. 30:41 The inner child stuff was all learned 30:42 by a man named John Bradshaw years ago. 30:46 So I don't, none of it is mine. 30:48 I'm passing it on freely. 30:51 That's why I'm super excited. 30:52 I hope everybody on this podcast will take the time 30:55 to download the book because it's just, 30:58 it's something that's really important 30:59 and you're gonna benefit. 31:01 I can promise you, you will benefit. 31:03 Do I know how? 31:04 No, I just know you will. 31:06 And I go back to the whole thing, 31:08 if I can, you can. 31:10 And you know, if you got a book in you, it's time, write it. 31:14 If you got a book that's out there in the world, 31:17 keep talking about it. 31:18 And you'll know that it's supposed to be out there 31:22 because your heart will always be thinking about it. 31:26 You know, your gut will always be guiding you 31:28 to talk about it. 31:30 Your inspiration is not of you. 31:33 Imaginations of you, but the next phase of creation 31:36 is imagination and inspiration. 31:39 Your inspirations are sourced from a power greater than you. 31:44 And it's in the creation phase where humanity and divinity come together, 31:50 because divinity gave me the idea, divinity gave me the content, 31:54 divinity gave me the context of the manuscript, 31:58 but me as the man had to write it. 32:01 And that's where in the creation phase, 32:03 divinity and humanity come together right there. 32:07 we're living in unison. And once it reaches the place where it goes out into the world, that's 32:12 the manifestation stage. And what is the foundational spiritual experience of the manifestation stage? 32:21 It's not an OT, a monetary reward for the writer. Manifestation stage is the reward, 32:31 the people that are reading the book, they feel the reward in their belly. 32:35 whatever you get out of reading the book, that reward, 32:40 and every time somebody feels better, becomes more aware, 32:44 has a conscious awakening, has an aha, 32:47 gets supported with new emotional growth, 32:49 whatever it is in your world, I feel fantastic. 32:53 And I want a hundred million people to get that reward 32:57 because I want to feel fantastic a hundred million times. 33:00 And that's where the manifestation stays. 33:02 That's where so many people get lost. 33:03 I got my hot power and I'm gonna write a book and I'm gonna put it out there and I'm make a million bucks 33:09 Now you might make a million bucks, but if you're doing it for the million bucks, that's not your higher power 33:14 Period why because your higher power don't even know money exists 33:17 Your higher power is about putting things out. So the value is in the recipient 33:23 What you gain back might be monetary, but the majority of the gain back is being given while you're giving 33:30 I feel great that it now is being given. 33:35 I'm already in the reward, 33:37 a 30 year process in the reward now, 33:41 because it's going out there. 33:43 And for new people here, welcome everybody. 33:47 The podcast is literally exploding 33:49 and I'm gonna talk about that here later 33:51 because I had some amazing confusion, 33:55 personal, spiritual and to welcome everybody. 33:58 but I had an experience where a couple of weeks ago 34:03 it could work, but you had about 40 different action steps. 34:06 Well, gentlemen, out of Nigeria downloaded my book 34:09 and out of nowhere I see on his LinkedIn page, my book. 34:13 And I'm like, that is absolutely unbelievable. 34:16 I kept looking. 34:17 I was just enamored that. 34:20 And this man, I can't pronounce his name. 34:23 He's got one of these beautiful African names. 34:25 It's just fantastic. 34:26 truly, the feeling of grace, the feeling of fullness, 34:31 the feeling of wow-walls, all I could say was fantastic. 34:36 Was it monetary based? 34:38 No, that's part of the human delusion. 34:42 Make enough money, you'll feel fantastic. 34:44 That's a little crap. 34:46 I'm all about making money. 34:47 I'm entrepreneurial as I can be. 34:50 But the delusion that money feels your belly 34:52 is just the false it, it just isn't true. 34:54 it's just not. And with all that being said, it's time for a lot of you to keep 35:01 doing it and then putting it out there, whatever your it is. And that's the more 35:07 you do it, the fuller you're gonna fill in your belly. And the fuller you fill 35:11 in your belly, the more you're gonna do it. And quite honestly, I've got two 35:15 more books already written. So Filling the Void is the first book, Why We 35:19 Feel Alone is the second book and the third book which is already written. 35:23 but we don't have a title yet, but we're gonna get there. 35:25 So over this next year, there'll be two more. 35:28 So in a very short period of time, 35:29 I'll have two books out. 35:30 I've got six books to write right now. 35:33 And I'm just creating the audience to get it out there. 35:36 And I say me, I'm the facilitator. 35:39 God is the source. 35:41 I'm the one that writes. 35:42 My divinity is the one that dictates. 35:46 And working together, that's the oneness. 35:49 God can only do for us what God can do through us 35:52 and living from that position feels really, really good. 35:56 There's a sense of abundance, a sense of fullness, 35:58 a sense of glory that can only be described as amazing, truly. 36:06 So the whole concept of the world being our guidance system, 36:10 life can feel so confusing when our life changes, 36:16 because it doesn't, we no longer want to create our life 36:19 based on what the world tells us it should be. 36:22 What does that mean? And the unconscious world lives from a perspective of the 36:31 outside in. Fix your external and your internal will feel better. That's what 36:39 the unconscious world does. That's what most of humanity does. That's why even 36:44 after I support a hundred million people to truly live consciously 36:50 understanding they're already living as the higher power, which is a powerful 36:54 place to be personally. Powerful meaning it feels really good and you're guided 37:00 by you and you. That still means there's 99% of the world that is clueless. They 37:06 just don't know. And that's okay. It really is. So the unconscious world and 37:12 most of us lived from that position of get enough money in the bank will be 37:18 Okay, marry the right person will be okay. 37:22 Have the right job will be okay. 37:24 Build the right family will be okay. 37:26 Have the right career, have the right location, 37:29 go to church enough, whatever the action steps of the it are, 37:33 do enough of it, then we'll be okay. 37:36 And I can tell you, for most of you, a lot of you, 37:40 the oakeness wasn't in the action. 37:42 The oakeness was in the gratitude you acquired 37:46 by taking the action. 37:48 Here's what I just said. 37:50 The oakeness wasn't in the action step itself. 37:54 It was in the gratitude you felt by taking the action step. 37:58 You're doing a job, you're working hard, 38:00 you spend a bunch of hours, you feel good, 38:02 you make a bunch of money, 38:03 and as you make the money and you receive the money, 38:07 it's gratitude, fabulous. 38:09 But gratitude's an ever-chasing event. 38:12 Gratitude fills nothing, literally. 38:15 Graditude is an ever-chasing event. Does that make it a bad thing? No, it makes it a human thing. 38:21 Gratitude, the pursuit of gratitude is your humanity living. Is that a bad thing? No, 38:28 of course not a bad thing. But it's not your divinity. It's not. Surely not. And I'll never 38:34 forget. I really thought heal my wound and live in gratitude because prior to living in 38:39 gratitude, what is there is living in something other than gratitude. So my whole perspective 38:44 was. Let's just heal enough so I don't hurt all the time and just get to 38:48 gratitude because if I'm in gratitude then everything's going to be great. No. I 38:52 thought that was the endpoint. It's not. That's the launch point. That's the 38:56 launching board. That's the diving board to jump you into the ocean of grace. 39:00 And so, so the world, the consciousness of the world will teach us to do the outside world in such a way that creates a bunch of abundance and gratitude. 39:19 And if you've got a bunch of abundance and gratitude in your external world, then your internal world's going to be okay. 39:25 Hey, falsehood, doesn't, no, I'll tell you, 39:30 you have more money than month, does it feel better? 39:33 Yes, is it safer? 39:34 Yes, is it more comfortable not having to worry 39:37 about your bills? 39:37 Of course, it's yes, yes, yes, yes, 39:40 but does it heal anything? 39:42 No, it doesn't. 39:43 In fact, in my opinion, at least when I was sitting 39:47 there broke with nothing, the car that didn't work, 39:49 no money in Hungary, I could at least blame, 39:52 I feel like crap because my external world is horrible. 39:56 I have deep empathy for the human being 39:59 that wakes up at 56 years old. 40:01 Kids launch, business sold, husband and wife still together 40:04 living in their $2 million house 40:06 with 10 million in the bank and feeling empty. 40:09 I have deep empathy for that person 40:12 because they lived a life their entire life believing 40:16 that fix the outside world and then grow it 40:18 and then make your outside world grand 40:20 that I'll feel better inside. 40:23 And you just don't, you don't, 40:25 because that's not how it works. 40:26 And quite honestly, the pursuit of being guided 40:33 by the outside world first, 40:36 which means your internal world second, 40:38 every time you take that action, 40:40 you're actually adding to the vacancy in your belly. 40:45 Let me say that again. 40:47 100% of the time, when you take an action step, regardless of the result that is being guided 40:56 because of an external stimulus versus an internal guidance, every time you take that action, 41:04 you are abandoning, neglecting, and quite honestly abusing yourself emotionally, spiritually, 41:12 mentally, even though the physical reward might be making money, even though the 41:17 physical reward might be living in a beautiful house and having a great 41:20 family. Am I saying any of that is wrong? No, I'm not. I'm saying it's time now 41:29 that we shift into how we are guided to make our external decisions. And that's 41:39 where we have to go to the root, how did we get to that place where we say do what the 41:47 external world says first, and then everything will be okay. And that starts as a kid. The 41:53 emotional side when we are children, we are in constant need as a child, a baby, a six 42:01 year old, eight year old, 10 year old, 12 year old, 20 year old, whatever. You're 42:09 love, praise, acknowledgement and pride, being proud of, 42:14 because emotionally you're not developed yet, you're not. 42:18 You're a kid. 42:19 Kids aren't emotionally, 42:21 they're not their own resource yet, they're not. 42:23 So kids to emotionally grow are 100% dependent 42:29 on their parents for emotional support. 42:33 Sounds fantastic. 42:34 The problem is for most of us when we were parents and we were parented by 42:41 unconscious people, so we then parent our kids unconsciously, then we're just 42:47 passing on the same wound generation after generation after generation. And what 42:53 is the wound? Are we doing it on purpose? No, but if you're not 42:59 consciously aware of how to embrace and empower your offspring, your kids, your 43:06 family, the community around you, how to empower and embrace their emotional sense 43:11 of self. Then when they grow up they've got the vacancy in their heart and the 43:16 society says go get a job, go get a house, go get a career, go get a wife 43:19 and you'll be fine. No. You can have a job, a career, a house and a wife and 43:24 still be vacant inside. Well, that whole vacancy is because we were not emotionally 43:32 nurtured. We never learned how to emotionally grow. And that's where the inner child work comes 43:38 in today. And that whole concept, some of the beliefs, the social beliefs. And I challenge 43:47 social beliefs all the time. I do. Why? Because the social beliefs of our yesterday 43:52 they don't work anymore in our todays and tomorrow. 43:56 It doesn't, it just doesn't. 43:58 It worked in the past, it doesn't work in the future. 44:01 Think about it, 200 years ago, 44:02 social belief was owning a human perfectly fine. 44:06 Doesn't work, didn't work then, atrocity now. 44:10 Well, the same idea happens just in different ways. 44:13 Years ago, I grew up in a family, 44:16 literally big boys do not cry. 44:23 Period. So every time you said, now what do you do? 44:26 Nothing, you deny it, you push it down, you stuff it. 44:30 Why? Because who gave me that belief? 44:32 In this particular example is my dad. 44:35 What am I trying to do as a kid? 44:36 I'm trying to please my father. 44:38 How would I please my father? 44:39 He says, don't cry, don't cry, pleases him. 44:42 So think about that. 44:45 Was he right? 44:47 No, was he trying to hurt me? 44:48 No, he's just unconscious. But his literal social belief was big boys don't cry. What was he trying 44:57 to do? He's trying to make me tough. He's trying to make me strong, face the world, be fierce. 45:01 I get it. Did it work? No, it turned me into a rage of alcoholic, alcoholic, literally. But was 45:08 that his fault? No, it wasn't. And how do we change it? We're the generation that change. 45:14 How do I change it? How do I know so much different? I've been in therapy for, 45:17 I was in therapy for 30 years, literally, healing all of that stuff. So the belief systems, 45:24 the social belief systems from the emotional perspective was never honored. It just wasn't. 45:32 The whole belief of little girls are to be seen, not heard. You know, little girls don't get mad. 45:40 You're a bad little girl if you get angry. Don't you dare talk back to me like, 45:45 How dare you have an opinion that's not mine? 45:50 All those types of beliefs. 45:52 There were social belief systems that we grew up in as kids. 45:56 And if you haven't grown beyond it, 45:59 you're teaching your kids the same thing now. 46:01 Now, am I suggesting that you allow your kids 46:06 to take their emotion out any way they want? 46:10 No, that's not healthy. 46:12 I'm suggesting that you teach them 46:14 that emotions are okay from now. Why? Because we want our kids to be different than we were. 46:21 And then how do we heal the void in us? That's where the dual hand journaling comes into play. 46:28 It is. Because so very often what happens is one of the ways that the external world guides us 46:37 and one of the ways that we live and make decisions 46:41 is that we're still acting out, 46:43 trying to get approval from our father 46:46 with the big boys don't cry. 46:48 The difference is the approval, 46:50 you're trying to still get an approval from a boss 46:53 or a partner or somebody at church 46:56 or somebody that you work with 46:57 or a buddy that you drink with or whatever. 47:00 So you're literally still living today, 47:05 the wounded belief system you were persecuted with as a child. 47:11 Now, do we think about it being persecuted? 47:14 No, we didn't even know any different. 47:16 Most people don't even know. 47:18 And so what do we do about it? 47:21 We wanna start thinking about and writing down 47:24 all of the limiting belief systems 47:26 that your family unit was created around 50 years ago 47:34 that caused a sense of oakeness 50 years ago. 47:38 Somebody get mad in my house? 47:40 I don't know what my dad would have done. 47:42 He wouldn't have tolerated it, that's for sure. 47:45 And I've said it in my book, 47:47 I literally felt like I took no, 47:48 I take my life, my own hands. 47:50 Again, get my book, Filling the Void. 47:52 JoeMittiga.com, please download it, it's for free. 47:55 And cause it'll help you, you literally read it. 47:58 You read all my stuff. 47:59 So where you start is you think back on all of the different belief systems that 48:07 you were taught to which the ones that are unhealthy are the ones that would 48:13 deny you and 95% of them was denying an emotional you. Now there are a lot of 48:21 people, most, that if a kid talks back to their parent, in other words a kid 48:27 has a belief system different than their parent, they'll get scolded. They might even get spanked. 48:33 How dare you talk back to me? There's a fine line there, folks, and you've got to find it. 48:41 You have to find it because if we do not allow our kids to have belief systems different than 48:53 ours, then we're creating the same robot that we went to therapy for 20 years to heal. 49:00 Am I saying let your kid be disrespectful? No, but I am saying it is okay for your kids 49:08 and people around you to have a different belief than yours. You do not want to make them wrong 49:13 because they have a different belief. Now, just because they have a different belief doesn't 49:19 mean they get their way. Why? Because you're the parent and you make the decision of what 49:25 you believe is the most safe and productive thing for the child. And just because they 49:34 don't get their way doesn't mean that their belief has to be squashed. I'll give you a 49:38 perfect example. We've got neighbors around and there's a neighbor girl who now is grown 49:45 and out. But when she was little, if she talked back, like say no to her parents, she get grounded 49:52 for a week. And I'm thinking to myself, if they don't let her say no at six, seven, nine, 12, 14, 50:01 then what happens when she's in the car with a freshman football player who's got all the hormones 50:08 is raging and wants something other than her conversation, 50:14 if she doesn't know how to say no, now what happens? 50:19 She ends up getting herself in a physical situation 50:23 because is it right or wrong? 50:25 No. 50:26 Should the boy be able to be in control? 50:28 Yes. 50:29 And if a young girl isn't taught how to say no, 50:33 isn't validated how to say no, 50:35 isn't supported 100 percent to say no? A lot of times young girls get themselves in positions 50:42 where the end result is not what they want. And in this particular type of example, that didn't 50:50 happen to our neighbor friend, but it sure could have. You want your kids to have the ability 50:57 to say no. That does not mean they're going to have the ability to do what they want, 51:01 But they can say no. Why? Because that's them creating their own sense of autonomy, their 51:08 own sense of space. They're identifying themselves different than you. And for a lot of you, that's 51:15 going to be a stretch. It's going to be an absolute stretch. A lot of marriages will 51:20 agree to disagree, which I love the concept. Why? Because there's two of you. And Johnny 51:27 might like it hot, and Susie might like it cold, and Freddie might like yellow, and Susie might 51:33 like orange, and somebody might be whatever, you know? And that's okay. You can love each other 51:39 anyways and disagree. And where arguments come in is not, I like red, you like blue, we disagree, 51:49 let's move on. Where arguments come in is, I like red, you like blue, you're wrong for liking 51:55 blue, you need to like red. I'm not wrong for liking blue is better. You're wrong for liking 51:59 red, blue, whatever. You know what I'm talking about. It's in the need to control and change 52:05 somebody else's mind is where arguments come into play. And why do we do that? Because we're 52:09 trying to get approval. Why are we trying to do that? Because as a kid, the only way we get 52:14 approval from our parents is to do what the heck our parents say. And that's why we grow 52:18 up vacant inside. Every time 50 years ago you were not able to express mad glad 52:26 sad or scared and that got suppressed inside of you. There's a hurt, there's a 52:30 wound inside of you. Does that mean it has to dominate your life? No, but does it 52:35 mean that for most of you it's been dominating your external decisions? Yes 52:41 And that's the whole idea, how and where. 52:48 What happened that causes us to have to make decisions 52:53 because the way the world wants us to see it, 52:57 the way the world defines us as okay. 53:00 And where it starts is as a kid, 53:02 where it starts literally is we will do 53:06 what our parents tell us to do, 53:09 which is the denial of self, 53:11 the denial of emotion, the denial of empowerment, big boys don't cry, denial of emotion. Don't you 53:19 dare get mad at me, denial of self. Don't you ever say no to me, denial of empowerment, literally. 53:27 And then we grow up with that whole emotional capacity, not there. What does that cause? 53:38 was internal angst. How do we solve it? Seeking external approval by being the good boy. Seeking 53:48 external approval by agreeing, never saying no. Seeking external approval or external 53:55 abundance by producing and creating gratitude. Is there anything wrong literally with any 54:04 of it. No. Well, then why are we talking about it, Joe? Well, 54:08 because for a lot of you, it doesn't work anymore. It just 54:11 doesn't. You're looking at your lives right now and saying, my 54:15 external world is good, but I've got a hole in my belly. Now 54:17 what? You know, you've been in therapy for 15 years, five 54:21 years, 10, whatever the it is, and you just can't do it the 54:24 way you used to do it anymore. Well, the how to is identify 54:30 identify the old beliefs, embrace the old emotions that are stuff, so we kind of start 54:35 moving out of and we identify the internal emotion, and then the more we identify our 54:42 own internal emotion, then our need to take external action steps in the pursuit of approval 54:49 from somebody outside, it just goes away, more and more and more. 54:54 And it's very, very interesting because there's a lot of people out there that what happens 55:00 is because they're not taught when there's something uncomfortable to go inside. 55:07 They then just blame the external world and then they either cut the external world 55:13 off or make the external world wrong or make somebody else wrong or try to fix somebody 55:17 else. 55:17 But when in reality, the only reason they're trying to fix somebody or make the world 55:23 wrong or whatever is because they're hurting themselves, because the act of the external 55:28 world is causing an angst in their inside world. And that's where we want to look at 55:35 when you get, when you see a peaked emotion, when you see a heightened emotion, 55:40 instead of acting on it, slow down and get with your emotional sense of self. And that's 55:46 where we literally can move from unconscious acting 55:50 out of behavior patterns to conscious. 55:53 And that's the same type of thing. 55:55 When you catch yourself, when you see yourself 55:58 taking actions, pursuing the approval of somebody else, 56:04 whatever it might look like. 56:05 I bought a new Jag and my buddy's got a new Porsche 56:08 and I'm trying to impress him with my Jag over his Porsche. 56:11 Whatever it is, when you start seeing, 56:13 Whenever you have somebody else's name in your decision-making process, that's codependence. 56:22 That's an outside influence guiding your internal decisions. And the reason you're doing that, 56:31 old patterns, and the reason you're living it is you're trying to create an okanus 56:37 by the external world. So what we want to do is create an okanus in the internal world, 56:43 and then those external behaviors naturally change. 56:47 How we can start right now and part of my belief 56:51 of all of us, the generation of change 56:54 and why are we the generation of change? 56:55 Because we're already at a different level of consciousness. 56:59 Some of the stuff I say for a lot of you, it's routine. 57:03 You already know it, you're living past it forever. 57:05 Some of you, you're hearing it for the first time. 57:08 Well, the whole idea, 57:10 We help empower our kids. 57:15 That's part of the generation to change. 57:17 We give to our children what our parents did not give to us. 57:20 That availability because we are more consciously awake. 57:25 We're more consciously practiced. 57:26 We're more consciously spiritually living it already. 57:32 And one of the techniques to do 57:35 is start teaching your kids and people around you 57:39 that are willing, that they can hear their own thoughts. 57:42 Unless the conversation comes up, 57:45 a youngster doesn't sit back and say, 57:49 oh my gosh, I hear my glass empty voices. 57:52 No, I don't even know that it is. 57:55 But as their parent, you can start teaching your kids 58:02 to hear their own thoughts. 58:03 Right now, we did it, it's not long ago. 58:08 So my friend, my son has this amazing young female 58:12 that's a great friend. 58:14 Now this is a genius woman. 58:17 She's, I don't want to call her kid, she's 18. 58:21 Everybody, anybody under 40 is a kid to me, just so you know. 58:24 But her dominant language, her primary language is Spanish. 58:29 She's never gotten to be in her entire life, 58:31 complete genius. 58:33 And my son asked her, he said, 58:36 But so when you're reading something, 58:39 do you read it in English, interpret it in Spanish 58:41 and then put it back out there? 58:43 And the first time he asked her the question, 58:46 no one had ever asked her that question. 58:48 She didn't know. 58:50 So, you know, he didn't change it, went on, whatever. 58:52 Well, now she has a consciousness 58:56 because the question was asked. 58:58 And she said, you know what? 59:00 I took a test, she got like a 1580 on the SAT 59:03 or something. 59:04 And she said, the only reason I got, I missed a couple. 59:07 She got 800 in math. 59:08 She missed a little in the English part 59:11 because it was in English. 59:13 If it had been in Spanish, she'd of aced both of them. 59:15 She's that kind of genius. 59:17 And she said, it was in the interpretation. 59:20 I'm reading it, right? 59:22 And then I have to put it in Spanish in my head 59:24 and then I have to interpret the Spanish 59:26 and then put it back out in English. 59:28 She said, and she's now aware of the process 59:31 that it goes on in her own brain 59:33 before she just intuitively did it and never even knew it 59:35 and no one asked, no one thought. 59:37 Well, you can do that with your own kids right now. 59:39 Literally right now, tomorrow morning, 59:43 ask them what they're thinking, ask them. 59:46 And they're gonna say, well, I don't know. 59:48 And then you say, well, 59:50 you've got a test coming up, right? 59:52 What are your thoughts about the test? 59:54 What are you thinking about the test? 59:56 And then whatever they say, honor it. 59:59 Doesn't mean whatever it is, 60:00 because you get them thinking about their own thoughts. 60:03 The other thing you can do right now, 60:05 I've done it with my kids their entire lives, 60:08 you can teach them that their gifts are of God, 60:13 their literal gifts, their abilities, 60:16 their ability to add one plus one is a God-given gift. 60:22 You can teach your children that there is a higher 60:27 presence, they are a spiritual being 60:29 and they might think you're wacky, they're gonna think you're crazy, whatever. I don't know, 60:32 I don't care what they think, quite honestly. I care that you start the dialogue with them now. 60:38 And does this have anything to do with religion? No, not at all. You can teach your kids 60:45 that Jesus, you're following Jesus, the teachings of Jesus, well the consciousness of Jesus is 60:51 inside of you. How do you do it? How do you truly follow what Jesus wants you to follow? 60:56 Well, that voice is in you too. 60:59 You can teach your kids that. 61:01 You can also teach your kids that their instinct, 61:05 their gut instinct is something to be aware of. 61:10 If something feels uncomfortable, 61:13 be aware of the uncomfortable feeling. 61:17 Don't deny it, don't dismiss it, 61:19 don't act like it's not there. 61:21 and most kids deny dismiss and act like it's not there because there's never 61:26 been conscious conversation around it in the first place. So at the dinner table, 61:32 at breakfast or whatever, especially you listeners out here that have young 61:38 females in your world, their bellies are open, their gut instinct is already in 61:45 them and for a lot of them it's there and they don't know it. They're just 61:50 not aware of it. You can start that conversation right now. Why? Because the more you bring their 61:58 awareness that it's in them as they get older, then they learn to follow it. I've used this 62:05 example before. My oldest son, he always has an arm guard on. A couple, two or three years ago, 62:10 he goes out there. I see no arm guard. He got rushed on his elbow and he gets plucked right 62:16 on the elbow 90 mile an hour fastball right on that spot where he would have had an arm guard 62:21 and I said to him later because it hurt he never hurt and he also threw it and I said 62:29 why no arm guard? He says well I got rushed he said and he said it to me I heard a part tell 62:36 me I should go put it on but I ignored it and I said to him I said well you know in the future 62:40 you probably don't want to ignore that voice everybody will wait the 23 seconds it would 62:46 to have taken him to put the arm guard on. 62:48 And I'm not saying you have to have extreme experiences, 62:52 but bring the people around you 62:57 the awareness of their gut instincts because it's in them. 63:01 And they just need someone to talk with it about. 63:04 How are we the generation of change? 63:07 Just doing those two things. 63:10 Helping young people know that they can hear their thoughts. 63:13 you awaken them much earlier. 63:17 Unconscious, we don't know we can hear our thoughts. 63:20 Conscious, we know we can hear our thoughts. 63:22 When did you do it for the first time? 63:24 Know the date, know the era of time, and then measure it. 63:28 Why? 63:29 Because when you can sit brushing your teeth 63:31 and you say, you know what, this is 2026 63:34 and I had my first conscious thought 63:36 in my high school prom in 1994, you do the math. 63:42 That puts you on a conscious path for 32 years, unconscious, conscious. 63:50 And you know what, the more we do that, the more we become consciously aware of how aware 63:54 we are personally, each one of us, it raises the vibration all the way around. 64:00 You have the ability to teach your youth and people around you just those general 64:07 ideas. 64:08 And then you start their process much earlier than yours typically and that's a really, really powerful thing. 64:17 The whole concept also of the right brain, left brain, right brain is the creative side of self. 64:26 Left brain is the analytical side of self more and more and more and more people are coming into this world with more of a right brain approach. 64:36 And the challenge with that is that most school systems, 64:43 there's just too many kids, there's just too many. 64:45 This isn't a judgment at all, not a shaming at all. 64:49 But a lot of school systems are not designed 64:54 to educate for the right-brained person. 64:58 And no, you're not stupid, you're not dumb, 65:01 you're none of that stuff. 65:02 Your brain works different. 65:04 If you're the person on this call right now and what are in this episode right now? 65:08 If you're the person and somebody asks you to add 65:12 six plus nine plus four 65:15 If that takes you longer than four seconds, you're probably right-brained. Does that make it wrong? 65:23 No, but what I want you to understand 65:26 for a lot of adults right here on this app on this podcast a 65:31 A lot of you are right-brained, 65:32 and a lot of you have had a challenge 65:34 your entire adult life, adding numbers, 65:37 or processing things fast, 65:39 or interpreting information quickly. 65:41 Why? 65:42 Because the right brain functions differently. 65:45 For the right-brained human, 65:47 one plus one plus one, 65:49 a lot of times is a triangle, not three. 65:52 Now, for the left-brained human, 65:54 that has the mental capacity to add 65:57 one plus one plus one is three. 65:58 Right. 65:59 My oldest memorized the presidents, George Washington, John Adams, all the way through 66:05 to whoever the president was at the time when he was 10. 66:09 In two days, my youngest, who's extremely right-brained, one plus one equals two, Ryan. 66:18 One plus one equals two, he would repeat. 66:21 One plus one equals two, one plus one equals two. 66:24 one plus one, and he'd go blank, you see his eyes looking. 66:30 The answer wasn't in his head yet in a third grade, wasn't. 66:36 So we did all sorts of things to educate his brain, 66:42 which learns different than a left brain person. 66:46 Now my youngest, who's an absolute modern day Mozart, 66:51 He sees patterns. He can play anything on the piano. He wants his capacity to remember because we took the time when he was young 66:58 to educate him from a right-brain perspective is 67:04 Really really powerful. I wish I don't I wish right now 67:09 I could give you a website to go to if you've got right-brain kids 67:13 Because they are going to learn differently than your left-brain kids 67:17 And if most of us, you know, our kids have to be in public school, the public school, 67:23 they just, they do it different. 67:25 Public school is more about memorization. 67:27 And the right brain kid has a challenging time memorizing, they just do. 67:31 Not because there's anything wrong with them, their brain works differently. 67:36 And quite honestly, that's why my kids have been homeschooled here at the house since 67:42 my oldest, my youngest was in the third grade, he's in the ninth grade now. 67:46 And it worked. 67:46 Ryan has to read things out loud. 67:49 You always did. 67:50 Couldn't do that in the middle of a classroom, couldn't. 67:53 So I bring that up because a lot of you on this podcast, 67:57 you yourself, you're playing cards and you got three cards 68:02 and you got a nine, you got a jack and you got a four 68:05 and it takes you a while to add those numbers. 68:06 You want to count them on your fingers. 68:08 Anything wrong with it? 68:09 No, but I want you to understand the right brain 68:13 and the right brain person, that right brain learner, 68:18 the right brain is also connected 68:20 to the feminine side of self 68:22 and the feminine side of self is the part of self 68:24 that's opening up to humanity in a huge way. 68:28 So right brain people are also deeply compassionate, 68:31 deeply loving, typically very kind, very spiritual. 68:36 Truly, you might have a challenge 68:38 adding three numbers at the same time, 68:40 but your ability to empathize 68:42 and have compassion is off the charts. 68:44 Well, if you're that person 68:47 and you have people in your life who are those people, 68:50 know that there are learning systems out there 68:53 and it's gonna be happening more and more 68:54 where the right-brained learner 68:58 has to be taught differently than most school systems 69:02 than most school systems have the ability to teach. 69:06 I talked about there are guidance systems 69:09 and I'm gonna briefly go through them 69:11 The next couple of podcasts I'm going to talk about them in length and then I want to tell you some of my 69:17 This how it fits so perfect confuse it 69:20 so the whole idea of being guided outside in is 69:27 the unconscious world 69:29 literally the unconscious world the entire pursuit of 69:34 Okaness is based on the belief of if I accomplish 69:39 outside, I'll feel better inside. 69:42 The unconscious world is the world that says 69:44 that they don't even know they can hear their own thoughts. 69:47 The unconscious world is a world that's kind of, 69:50 you live in absolute repeat patterns. 69:54 Most of your pleasures are based on addiction satiation 69:58 and that's just where people are. 70:01 Everybody on this podcast knows dozens of people, 70:05 they see it every day and that's just where they are. 70:07 good or bad? No, just the facts. The next phase is where you go from completely 70:13 unconscious to conscious and conscious means you can hear your own thoughts. 70:19 My first true, my second true conscious thought was the police officers are not 70:27 trying to get me to stop drinking, they're trying to get me to stop 70:30 drinking and driving. It's 40 years ago, literally, 30 years ago. And from that 70:39 position, I started to be able to hear my own thoughts. And that's way back when 70:44 the whole positive affirmation concept was like fantastic, because I'd hear all 70:48 these crazy thoughts and I wanted to fix them. Because the next phase after 70:52 going from conscious to unconscious, I mean from unconscious to conscious, and 70:57 And then the voices you hear are going to be glass empty voices. 71:03 They're going to be fear-based, hate-based, hurt-based voices, voices that are always 71:07 pursuing and making decisions based on afraid of not getting what you want or afraid of 71:12 losing what you have. 71:14 Here's what I said. 71:15 When you're living from the guidance system of your fear, 99% of your decisions are based 71:21 on the fear of not getting what you want or the fear of losing what you have. 71:26 And that's kind of that position. 71:29 You can hear them, so you're not unconscious. 71:33 And it's more than just hearing thoughts. 71:36 Now you start hearing phrases 71:40 and you start associating emotion with the phrases. 71:43 That's kind of the next level. 71:45 That's kind of the next position. 71:47 Well, after that, then we start healing a little bit 71:51 and we wanna start moving from fear-based voices 71:54 is guiding us to our glass empty voices, the glass full. 71:59 How do we do that? 72:00 We write down the glass empty voices, 72:02 which is called a first step bullet point, bullet point. 72:05 And again, get the book at joemitiga.com 72:10 because I go through, have hundreds of them. 72:13 And in the book, I've got, I don't know, 50. 72:16 And why do I say it? 72:18 Because as you read my voices, 72:19 you're gonna say, oh my God, I have that one, 72:21 I have that one, I have that one. 72:22 and it just helps and write them down yourself. 72:25 And then we go from glass empty 72:28 and then why do we wanna shift from glass empty voices 72:32 to glass full voices 72:33 because our glass empty voices is hurt guiding us. 72:36 Glass full voices are which are gonna be more inclusive 72:40 if you will, more glass empty voices 72:43 are gonna be all or nothing, red or black or white 72:47 where an all inclusive voice 72:49 which is gonna be more of a higher you, 72:51 a different you, a grander you, a more okay you, it's going to be more of an inclusive voice. 72:57 It's going to sound like, well, maybe we can go on a trip or maybe we're going to get this new job 73:03 or maybe we can make more money or the maybe's the possibilities. And that's the glass full voice. 73:10 Well, eventually with the glass full voices, a guidance system that comes into play 73:15 is emotion. And we say, if it feels right emotionally, then it's right. It's a 73:25 great place. It's much better than being completely unconscious. And it's much 73:29 better than being guided by your glass empty voices. But your emotional 73:35 guidance system is the most fragile, unpredictable, set you up for challenge 73:41 that there is. Is it better than the others? Better meaning is it a higher 73:47 vibrational you in pursuit? Yes. And I have an amazing story that happened to 73:55 me literally 25 years ago where I was truly following my feelings and I 74:01 followed them right into a brick wall. And I'll tell that story when I do that 74:06 later. The next place after that is we get into discernment and from a place of discernment 74:13 with beyond emotion and then we discern the possibilities of okanus. We discern the possibilities 74:23 of result and possibility and there's not a whole lot of time associated with it 74:31 and it's more discernment than emotion. 74:35 And all of that, when you get to discernment, 74:39 discernment of decision making process removes emotion. 74:44 When you make the decision based on discernment, 74:47 there's going to be a favorable emotion 74:50 and or the emotion because you might discern 74:53 it's not the right time to go on a trip. 74:56 So because of the facts 74:59 if you don't have enough money and blah, blah, blah, whatever it is. So there's going to be emotional 75:05 consequence to your discernment, but the emotion isn't what's making the decision, discernment is. 75:12 And when we get to discernment, that is the most stable and self-loving because it brings in 75:21 all possibilities. And we discern the pros, we discern the cons, we talk it through, we allow 75:28 time to be part of the creation of the decision. And once we discern and make a decision, then 75:36 there's going to be emotional consequence. Highs, lows, greats, not anger, fear, maglads, 75:42 that are scared somewhere somehow. All of that is all part of the human development. 75:48 Unconscious to conscious, conscious voices to glass, conscious being able to hear your thoughts, 75:55 being conscious, then being aware that your glass empty voices are guiding you, 76:00 going from glass empty voices guiding you to glass full voices guiding you, 76:05 then from glass full voices guiding you, you go to, does it feel right? We start 76:09 bringing in emotion, again all human, then we transcend emotion, we go to 76:14 discernment. And I thought that was the end point. It's not. That's the 76:21 launch. Because what's the next place? It's called following your 76:25 knowings. And a knowing is not of your humanity. A knowing is of 76:31 your divinity. And I'm not going to talk more much about that 76:34 now. In future podcasts, I'm going to go through each one of 76:37 those things and give stories and experiences of just the of 76:42 the guidance system development in consciousness, how we do it. 76:45 And from a place of knowings, emotion is removed, 76:49 Humanity is removed, quite honestly, literally, 76:52 because your knowings are of your divinity. 76:55 Now, your divinity can have the knowing, 76:57 it's your humanity that has to take the action step. 76:59 That's where the communion comes in, 77:02 but when you're following your knowings, 77:04 emotions are not part of the equation. 77:08 And that whole experience of following your knowings, 77:11 as you get practiced with it, it's cool. 77:13 It's a great feeling, it really is. 77:15 Now, does it satiate your humanity? 77:19 Sometimes, a lot of times no, it doesn't. 77:22 Why? 77:23 Because your divinity isn't here to satiate your humanity. 77:27 Your divinity is here to bring your humanity's perspective 77:31 equal to your divinity so you can live as one. 77:35 Truly, where humanity is always trying to pursue 77:39 an action step that satiates itself. 77:42 Is that a bad thing? 77:43 No. But it's a limiting thing. Just this. Why? Because it's self-satiating self. And a lot of 77:54 times, you know, gratitude, and that's not arrogant or ego, but it is human. When you 78:00 shift out of your human being guided, and you move into knowings, your knowings are 78:05 of your divinity, and your knowings are clearer. They're stronger. They have more 78:11 a foundation to them and then learning how to follow it is learning how to live from faith and 78:19 that's easy as long as what you believe you're knowing is the direction you're 78:25 knowing is taking you as long as it just keeps unfolding and that's where this past week 78:32 the we podcast started November the 11th I think 2025 so we're right now 11 months old 78:39 Well, it has exploded because of all of you, the we podcast has exploded. 78:45 And as I'm watching it explode, how do I know it explodes? 78:48 I see the numbers periodically, but I see rankings and you know, four million active podcast 78:55 when the we podcast with no not one characteristic of every unlike every other podcast that's 79:05 on the top chart. 79:07 Every other podcast had a massive amount of money, 79:13 a massive amount of support, 79:16 a massive amount of business behind, 79:18 a massive amount of people behind. 79:21 The We Podcast was a man and a microphone. 79:23 That's why the story is so unique. 79:26 And because of all of you, 79:28 the We Podcast ranks in the top 200. 79:32 And for two months, three months, 79:35 it was in the top 50 reached up to the 34th ranking of 4 million websites. So why do I say all that? 79:43 Because my knowing of my higher purpose and a grander me of healing humanity by mirroring 79:50 back consciousness and sharing people, how did I become one with a power greater than myself? 79:56 It wasn't by pursuit of a relationship with God, it was by healing the depths of my emotions. 80:03 Every time I healed deeper, my awakening of a grander me became the consequence. 80:10 And it all kind of clicked together over these past four or five years. 80:13 And that all fits because the emotional side or the female side of self is emotion and 80:19 spirit. 80:21 Well, following, following, following, right? 80:24 And the knowing is being represented by the rankings, by the numbers, by all of 80:30 of you that I'm on the path, because we're talking now, 80:33 because the man has to make the decision. 80:36 The man is the one following my knowings, 80:39 following a grander me. 80:42 And again, it's easy when you see the result. 80:47 Well, October the 5th, the we podcast for three, 80:53 two and a half months was in the top charts, 80:56 went from the top charts to gone. 80:59 out of the top charts. And I'm like, like, what happened? I just didn't know, right? 81:06 And then the we podcast was the number three ranked podcast in education. And for 81:11 the two or three days in a row, it went from three to 27 to 50. I'm literally 81:16 watching it go down and then eventually off the education charts. And I say all 81:23 of this because my humanity, the man, I say it all the time, there's a man 81:28 here by divinity speaking, but there's a man here talking. It was giving the human man and me 81:36 comfort to see that following and knowing and doing what I'm being guided to do, 81:41 but there was still for my humanity, it brought me comfort and celebration to see the rankings 81:48 because it was something my humanity could put my hands on. I could see it. It was a physical 81:53 thing. And when it was just removed out of nowhere, it's all computer, right? I don't know how the heck I got there. And then it's just removed. I went through a four day period of time, where disappointed emotions, of course, confused, like what happened. And then because I just don't 82:13 know this world, I thought like, did I do something? I don't know, I didn't know at all. And what I found over that four day period of time. 82:23 The first day there was a lot of emotion and then eventually the emotions away. So I'm in my sacred silence 82:30 Which five six hours a day 82:33 remember everybody 82:34 Do your five minutes work up to an hour 82:37 Why because you want to get guided by a power grader you'll find it in your silence the soft voice in your silence 82:43 I'm still doing five or six hours every day and about probably 82:48 the 7,000 pieces into a 40,000 piece puzzle. 82:51 I do puzzles in my silence. 82:53 Well, it was after that first day, 82:55 and I wrote my voices that I realized 82:58 that I had to go deeper in me to find the faith 83:04 that I'm still okay. 83:06 I'm on the path. 83:08 There was a silence 83:10 because there wasn't external stimulus 83:13 with the rankings gone. 83:15 And for a four day period of time, 83:18 I'm in this complete state of blankness, 83:24 not questioning whether I'm right or wrong, 83:27 but simply not knowing. 83:30 And in the not knowing, I was able to identify 83:36 and I felt a surrender in me saying, 83:40 I don't have to know, because it's all in God's hands. 83:45 And just because I don't see the we podcast 83:47 on the Apple charts, doesn't mean it's not in God's hands. 83:52 And after about that three days, and believe me, 83:54 it's uncomfortable, it is easy to have faith 83:57 when everything internal and external is the same. 84:02 But the external was such a heightened uniqueness. 84:07 And my goal of helping a hundred million people 84:09 is unique. Well, when the visual was away, and there wasn't external stimulus of celebration, 84:19 which is me with me, and a three-day, four-day place of just deep silence with no guidance, 84:28 with no take this action, take that action, just silence. And in that silence, there was a part 84:35 me that went from concern, the human in me that went to concern that said, I'm good. 84:42 This is a God thing. This is not a Joe thing. God's, I don't know how it's going to end up. 84:48 I don't know if I'll ever be on the charts again, an apple. I don't know. I just don't know. 84:52 And I don't see numbers, so I don't know. I didn't have any external validation, 84:57 but I just felt this oakeness come over me because I, and I felt myself having to go 85:03 into a deeper place of faith 85:06 that there's a God and it's not Joe. 85:09 And I don't know why this was happening and that happened. 85:12 The very next day I wake up 85:15 and I get this inspiration to start pursuing. 85:19 And I've been feeling this for a while. 85:21 It's time for me to come out from behind the microphone 85:24 and get on stages. 85:26 It's time for me to come meet every one of you 85:28 face to face, shake your hands, hug your necks, 85:31 Look eye to eye, become friends with all of you to get out there on stages. 85:36 And so that was a guidance system and I've started that process. 85:41 And then about four days in the part of me says, you know, 85:46 you're the top trending podcast on Spotify. 85:50 And I was like, oh, and why is that important? 85:55 I keep talking about the rankings as if the rankings have something to do with 85:58 me, nada. 85:59 up. The rankings mean all of, there's just more and more of us listening. And the more 86:04 I'm putting it out there and the more people are listening, there's just a grander sense. 86:08 And I was like, oh, well, that's change. For 11 months, my focus was Apple. In that four 86:18 day period of blankness, then I saw Spotify. I didn't even notice Spotify was two months 86:24 ago. And I hear that there's more people unspotified than Apple, which is fabulous. I don't know. 86:29 I just don't know. But that change from one focus of celebration to the other, it takes time. 86:38 In the gap between an old familiar and a new familiar, even though it's wonderful. 86:45 And that's where I realized that your external accomplishments have zero to do 86:52 with your internal guidance. 86:55 Nothing, it's the other way around. 86:58 And in those four days, five days, 87:00 my internal guidance was silent. 87:03 The old celebratory experience was blank and zero, 87:09 so deep loss in the zero, in the not there anymore, 87:13 the emotion I had to go through. 87:15 And then as the new awareness of Spotify came up, 87:18 that felt good, but it didn't, 87:20 It was a difference because there's change, 87:24 both amazing, both extraordinary, 87:28 all of it because of all of you, 87:30 all of it because of what we're doing together here. 87:32 None of it, Joe. 87:33 But I just wanna explain the differences 87:38 because you can be having something go on in your life 87:41 and get a great new job 87:43 and feel deeply sad because you're losing the old job. 87:46 And the great new job might be $400,000 a year 87:49 and the old job was only 150 and the world said, 87:52 you should be happy, but you're not 87:55 because you're sad of losing the old job. 87:58 Yes, that's the human emotional experience 88:01 with the whole thing. 88:03 And that experience of change, 88:07 it doesn't matter when, even when you go 88:09 from grand to grandeur, which in this case 88:13 is I'm describing a grand to grandeur experience, 88:18 There was still loss. There was still emotion. There was still void. And that's why it was 88:25 still confusing. That's why when I say, why life can feel so confusing, it fit me so perfectly 88:32 this past week. And I'm wise enough to know, even though I'm so blessed and the Wee Podcast 88:39 is blessed to have a massive audience going on the Spotify, it did not negate the confusion 88:47 of the other stuff. And that's the point here. As your world changes, as your world shifts, as your 88:54 world becomes grander, just because your world becomes grander, because you're following grander, 89:00 you, doesn't mean there's going to be immediate clarity. Doesn't mean there's going to be immediate 89:05 wonderment. That doesn't mean there's not going to be loss and sadness and fear. 89:08 It means you're going to have all of it, literally all of it. And is that a bad thing? 89:14 No, I just want you to be aware of as you spiritually are growing. There's emotional consequence and those emotional consequences 89:22 They're uncomfortable bottom line. They're uncomfortable and 89:27 In this particular experience, that's what I literally just went through and this morning out of nowhere 89:35 poof-o the we podcast back on 89:38 education charts and 89:40 And it goes like, it's 157 out of 200. 89:44 And then two hours later, 72, 89:47 two hours later after that, this is all yesterday. 89:49 And then I wake up this morning, 89:51 we podcast number four back in education, 89:54 right where it left from. 89:55 And then about midday, Poofo, 89:58 we podcast ranked 185 on top charts. 90:02 And right now, 121 on top charts. 90:06 So literally, why did all that have to happen? 90:09 And I don't know, what actually happened? 90:12 Calulus, what does Apple do? 90:14 I don't know, Apple has an Apple's technique. 90:16 I don't have any idea what Apple's doing, 90:18 but what did it do for Joe? 90:21 In a place of silence, 90:24 there was a codependence in Joe 90:27 that was using a visual of a ranking to cause me pleasure. 90:33 Period, that's what it was. 90:35 And when that was removed, I felt lost. 90:38 Did I think that all of y'all stopped listening? 90:41 No, I knew for a fact everybody was still listening. 90:43 It was my own codependence. 90:44 It was my own using of an external visual, 90:49 in this case, a ranking. 90:51 And looking and seeing that ranking caused me pleasure. 90:54 It just didn't. 90:55 It feels fricking good to see it. 90:58 And the underlying reason it feels so good for Joe 91:02 is because it just means more and more of us are doing it, 91:04 more and more of us are healing. 91:05 and that's all part of my higher purpose. 91:09 But there was a human part of me 91:10 that when it was gone, was deeply disappointed. 91:14 Did I push the disappointment away? 91:16 No. 91:17 Did I make the disappointment wrong? 91:18 No. 91:19 Did I write out the voices of the disappointment? 91:21 Yes. 91:22 The exact things I share with each of you, 91:25 they're gonna have things in your life 91:26 you're gonna be disappointed about. 91:28 Write the voices down and feel the feelings. 91:30 Just write them down and feel the feelings. 91:34 And unlike what might be a human belief system that says, 91:39 well, when I go more spiritual, 91:40 everything is going to be grander. 91:42 No, there's the gap between old spiritual 91:47 and new spiritual, there's a gap. 91:49 And in that gap, there's a human experience. 91:51 And in that human experience, 91:52 there's all sorts of emotions. 91:54 What are they going to be? 91:55 I don't know, don't know. 91:57 A lot of times it's lost 91:58 because it's the shedding of the skin, 92:01 the snake shutting out the skin and on the other side and you start filling in 92:08 the new place of grandness is it all grander yes it is so literally where do 92:13 I sit today where do I the human the man sit here today very grateful because I 92:20 experienced and found the capacity to have a deeper sense of faith in a very 92:25 a deep, dark, no guidance, completely silent place, 92:31 four days of complete silence. 92:34 And I mean silence, external and internal. 92:37 And it comes out the other side and here we are. 92:40 So for all of us, we're growing, 92:44 the process of growing. 92:46 And I want you to understand 92:48 that some of you are just waking up to the idea of, 92:52 I've lived my whole life doing this 92:54 and I've just outgrown it. 92:57 And that's a confusing thing. 92:59 Understand whatever you've done your whole life 93:01 just because you've outgrown it doesn't make any of it wrong. 93:04 It just means you're growing into something else 93:07 and you'll be amazed that all the growth you had 93:10 and the techniques you used to acknowledge 93:13 and to have the original successes, 93:15 you'll use that in whatever your next adventure is 93:18 you just will. 93:19 And as we all grow and we shift 93:21 And we go through that void, the vacant, the dark, that space between old conscious and 93:29 new conscious, when we're in the middle of it's confusing and you will feel lost. 93:34 And I just want you to hear that in your place of lost, instead of believing there's something 93:40 wrong, ask for strength and courage. 93:43 Instead of thinking you've done something wrong, ask for guidance. 93:46 instead of feeling like the sadness and everything, 93:51 write out the voices, embrace the emotion 93:54 and then ask for the courage to just sometimes sit in it. 94:00 And that's what I did for four days. 94:02 I sat in a blankness and had all the experiences. 94:06 And now I'm on the other side 94:09 and I don't know what the next things will be, 94:12 but whatever it is, I'll share with you. 94:15 On the next episodes and all that, we're moving more and more into development of consciousness. 94:21 We're talking about emotional growth. 94:24 That was my path. 94:25 And soon, hopefully, I'm going to be out there in the world and I'll get to meet you face 94:31 to face. 94:32 Please get my book, Filling the Void, JoeMittiga.com, it was God-guided and I can promise 94:40 you there'll be something in there somewhere, if you're guided to get it for free, download 94:44 it. 94:44 There'll be something in there that you're going to know why you did it as you read it. 94:47 I don't know what your it will be. 94:49 It'll be there. 94:50 But the episodes, let my voice keep you company during your challenging times. 94:55 Let my voice celebrate with you during your happy times. 94:58 Let my voice bring some clarity when you're confused and let my voice challenge some 95:04 of the things that the world around you has been telling you right or wrong. 95:08 And you know, together, that's how we do it. 95:10 That's why I say keep visiting the different episodes. 95:12 It's one of the reasons the WePodcast ranks so high 95:15 is because out of 64 episodes, 40 of them are still active. 95:19 And that's what it's designed to do, 95:22 to always be a resource, a library to support you 95:27 in your personal, emotional and spiritual growth. 95:30 Emotional healing, spiritual growth, human transformation. 95:35 But that's what the WePodcast is. 95:37 And folks together, we're doing it. 95:39 together we're healing, together we're growing, 95:43 together we're waking up, and truly together 95:47 we're healing humanity. 95:48 One smile at a time. 95:51 And from around the world, 95:52 I truly wanna welcome you to Wee. 96:02 So that's it for today's episode of the Wee Podcast. 96:06 Head on over to Apple Podcasts 96:08 or wherever you listen and subscribe to the show. 96:10 One lucky listener every single week 96:13 that posts a review on Apple podcasts or iTunes, we'll win a chance at the grand prize drawing 96:18 to win a $25,000 private VIP day with Joe himself.
