WWE RAW POST-SHOW (8/31): Keller & Machado talk about silliness of "edgy" opening "live" segment with Royce Keys, Heyman brilliance, more

PWTorch editor Wade Keller was joined by PWTorch's Javier Machado to discuss Raw with live chat and live caller interaction throughout. They begin by discussing the silliness of the supposed "edgy" angle at the start of the show that was farcically presented as "live" despite obvious post-production. They discuss why this is stupid and overwrought, but also how it's symptomatic of something fundamental to the presentation of pro wrestling that WWE has lost sight of internally. They also discuss the brilliant Paul Heyman promo for Oba Femi-Bron Breakker match, the Becky Lynch-Stephanie Vaquer exchange, Roman Reigns's character at its core and how it does and doesn't work in the context of his stories, what's not clicking with Chad Gable but how he had a good night, how Sol Ruca seems to be redeeming herself with another solid in-ring performance, and much more with live caller and chat interactions throughout.
