BONUS POD: Poll Shows Americans want SAVE ACT NOW plus Abdul Mohamed El-Sayed Wins

New polling shows continued majority support for the SAVE Act, a proposal that would require proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in federal elections. Supporters argue the measure reflects broad public agreement that only citizens should vote, while critics continue to raise concerns about its impact and implementation. With the bill stalled in the Senate despite House approval, the debate is becoming a key issue ahead of future elections.

The episode also examines a series of Democratic primary results in Michigan that Ben Ferguson argues signal a major ideological shift within the Democratic Party. He points to victories by candidates aligned with democratic socialist and progressive movements, despite significant spending and support from party establishment figures.

In this episode of Verdict with Ted Cruz, Senator Ted Cruz and Ben Ferguson discuss new polling on the SAVE Act, the legislative battle over voter citizenship verification requirements, Senate Republican efforts to advance the bill, and what recent primary election outcomes could mean for the future direction of the Democratic Party. They analyze voter sentiment, campaign spending, establishment-versus-insurgent political battles, and the growing influence of democratic socialist candidates in key races. Topics Covered:

• New Rasmussen polling on voter support for the SAVE Act
• Senate gridlock over proof-of-citizenship voting legislation
• Voter attitudes toward election integrity and citizenship requirements
• Michigan Democratic primary results and establishment spending
• The victory of Abdul El-Sayed over Haley Stevens in Michigan
