Barnstorming the Country—the Most Consequential Midterms of our Lifetimes

In this episode of Verdict with Ted Cruz, Senator Ted Cruz and Ben Ferguson break down the final days before Election Day, examine turnout data and campaign momentum in key battleground states, and discuss how competitive Senate and statewide races could shape the balance of power in Washington. Cruz offers firsthand observations from rallies and candidate events across the country, explains why he believes turnout is the defining variable in many contests, and makes the case for increased voter participation ahead of Election Day.

With Election Day just days away, Senator Ted Cruz argues that voter turnout will determine the outcome of several closely contested Senate and gubernatorial races across the country. Drawing on campaign stops in multiple battleground states, he describes growing concerns about early voting trends, the balance between Election Day and early turnout, and what he sees as the stakes for control of Congress. Cruz shares observations from the campaign trail in states including Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Michigan, Iowa, Kansas, and Alaska. He discusses polling, voter enthusiasm, candidate recruitment, and the challenges facing Republican campaigns in races he characterizes as highly competitive and potentially decisive.
