With over 25 years in the game, Luis Groove is one of the key figures to emerge from the Canary Islands electronic music scene, with a career closely connected to some of its most representative clubs, festivals and projects. Originally from Tenerife, he has built a long-standing path shaped by residencies, large-scale festivals and appearances in different European cities.Since 2013, he has been a resident DJ at Papagayo Tenerife, a club that entered DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs for the first time in 2026, reaching number 76 worldwide. Over more than a decade, this residency has placed Luis Groove in one of the most relevant booths in the Canary Islands, sharing line-ups with some of the leading artists on the international circuit. He currently combines this residency with his role as resident DJ at Gekko Club Tenerife, one of the island’s most prominent clubs, as well as being part of Gravity Electronic Parties.His story began in the late 90s, when he became resident DJ at the legendary
