Zelenskyy: Peace Talks with US 'Constructive, Challenging'

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently described peace talks with US representatives as constructive yet challenging. He met with Trumps envoy and Kushner, and is set to meet with European leaders in London and Brussels. Zelenskyy emphasized Ukraines core positions and the need for Russia to be held accountable. Former President Trump considers ending the war his most significant foreign policy challenge, with slow progress due to sticking points like security guarantees and Russian-occupied territories. Moscow claims openness to negotiations, while Ukraine and allies argue Russia is using diplomacy to solidify gains. European leaders support a phased diplomatic process, but talks remain fragile amid potential US political shifts. The Daily News Now! - Every city. Every story. AI Powered. Hosted on Acast.
