White House Labels Media 'Fake News', ACLU Criticizes

The White House has labeled CBS News, The Boston Globe, and The Independent as fake news media outlets, accusing them of misrepresenting President Trumps call for accountability regarding members of Congress who urged military personnel to refuse what they termed illegal orders. The administration maintains that every order issued by President Trump has been lawful and that the media outlets reporting is false and misleading. The White House has created a Offender Hall of Shame list, with The Washington Post, CBS News, CNN, and MSNBC topping the category, and a Repeat Offenders list, where The Washington Post leads with five alleged offenses. The ACLU has criticized the presidents actions, calling them an attempt to dismantle the free press and violate the Constitution. The Daily News Now! - Every city. Every story. AI Powered.
