Trump’s Midterm Rally in Dallas | US News

Republicans are staging their first-ever midterm convention in Dallas, with Trump headlining to energize the base, tout achievements, and raise cash ahead of Election Day. Over 100 speakers, including VP Vance and key candidates like those in Texas’s Senate race, will address issues from drug prices to public safety. While some question if Trump’s rally can sway swing districts amid low approval ratings, others believe his presence alone electrifies supporters. Notably, several House members skipped the event—some citing a $25K attendance fee—to focus on local campaigns. Democrats are also holding events in Dallas, setting up a high-stakes political showdown as both parties scramble for momentum.
