Trump's Death Threats Against Lawmakers

House Democratic leaders, including Hakeem Jeffries, have alerted Capitol Police after former President Donald Trump issued what they called death threats against several lawmakers. Trump responded to a video by six Democratic members, encouraging U.S. service members to refuse illegal orders, labeling them as traitors. Democrats condemned Trumps remarks, linking them to past violence and attacks on military families. Meanwhile, House Speaker Mike Johnson defended Trump, expressing concern about the message sent to young troops and its impact on national security. The situation remains tense as both sides stand firm on their positions. The Daily News Now! - Every city. Every story. AI Powered. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
