Texas Partners with Turning Point USA for Conservative Clubs

Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick announce a partnership with Turning Point USA to bring Club America chapters to high schools, aiming to promote conservative civic engagement and constitutional principles. The initiative is met with support from conservatives, who view it as a response to perceived ideological indoctrination in schools. Governor Abbott warns of disciplinary action for any interference, while also accusing some teachers of promoting violence and mocking conservative leaders. This move aligns with similar efforts in other states, signaling Texas commitment to protecting conservative student organizing. The Daily News Now! - Every city. Every story. AI Powered.
