Stefanik Challenges Hochul for NY Governor

Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, a prominent Trump supporter, has announced her candidacy for New York governor, vowing to make the state affordable and safe for all and challenging current Governor Kathy Hochuls leadership. Stefanik, known for her criticism of Hochuls policies, accuses the governor of making New York the most unaffordable state and caving to Defund the Police movements. With a strong national profile and fundraising abilities, Stefanik is expected to be a significant Republican challenger, potentially ending Democrats two-decade control of the governors mansion.
