Sheinbaum, Trump May Meet at World Cup Draw

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum may meet with former U.S. President Donald Trump next week, marking their first in-person discussion since she took office. This potential meeting could happen during the FIFA World Cup draw in Washington. Sheinbaum is awaiting confirmation from both Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. Meanwhile, negotiations on fifty-four non-tariff barriers between Mexico and the U.S. are nearing completion, and a high-level security meeting is planned for next month.
