Professor Mamdani's Controversial Israel-Apartheid Comparison

A controversial lecture from 2002 by Columbia University Professor Mahmood Mamdani, father of NYC Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, resurfaces. In the speech, Mamdani compared Israel to apartheid-era South Africa and referred to Holocaust survivors as todays perpetrators. He suggested that Holocaust survivors in Israel faced a similar fear to white Afrikaners in South Africa. The video was uncovered by Canary Mission, which criticized Mamdani for his antisemitic rhetoric and its influence on students at Columbia University. The Daily News Now! - Every city. Every story.
